I just posted PART 2 That I took some of your suggestions and integrated it into the new video.. Check it out at: ua-cam.com/video/ZuzVEMA9oJY/v-deo.html
@@tylerlawrence1911 Sorry I had missed your comment. I am unfamiliar with the fireworks market in NH. I would say order online at American Wholesale Fireworks, WFBoom or Red Apple Fireworks and have them delivered. If you order from Red Apple, there is a link and discount code in the description to save a few bucks.
Great info and yes wholesale is the way to go for best pricing in relation to amount of products, also on big wholesale orders you can get a pool of friends or neighbor's and divide the cost, another strategie is to go to demo night at Pyro locations like Four Seasons Fireworks and they usually run deep discounts, wholesale pricing by the piece, great video
@@michaelbauer5081 LMFAO me and my fiance literaly just did that after we got done with ours. we were at her dads in staten island and we watched 3 diffrent people up close shoot theres off in the neighborhood. i literaly said too, "why tf did i even buy any when we couldve just did this?!" 🤣
Omg I totally agree with the TNT pricing...its a rip off!!! I buy the cakes from my dad's friend who buys wholesale and it is super convenient! Great video 😊
Wholesale doesn't necessarily mean that they deliver. Area 51 and Blackjack both do wholesale, but they don't deliver. There are a bunch of stores across the nation that do wholesale, many that ship, many that don't. Shipping isn't always the best option, since many states are looking for bootleg fireworks being shipped in. I hope you get to browse more stores and talk with more owners so you can get a more complete picture of the industry and some of the real marketing gimmicks out there.
That is a good point which i hadn't really considered but I think we all appreciate better pricing than the BOGO stores offer - I live in Florida and we don't really have any mom and pop type stores that I know of but rather have, for the most part, 3 firework brands, Phantom, TNT and Sky King. We do have Superior Fireworks which does ship to you and offers wholesale but it is in Northern Florida, a few hours away from me. We have a handful of tents during the major fireworks holidays but many of them purchase their stock from those same 3 brands. To your point about needing 24 of the same cake, to some point, I agree which is why I typically focus on 500g cakes and mortars rather than 200 grammers. Something else to think about is if 2 or 3 friends get together, and order a case of 12, 16 or 20 of the same case, then each person gets 4 or 5, rather than so many. Appreciate the feedback and watching the channel.
@@BoomInTheSky We all do appreciate better pricing, but there has to be some retail to support the wholesale side too. Yep, the concept you are referring to used to be called a group buy. It also used to be how multiple people would get a better pricing from the wholesaler. Don't you have Four Season's Fireworks there too? I've looked on the Superior Fireworks page, and I'm hoping to test that product someday.
@@PaulsPyro we do but that's still like 4 hours away from me. I live in South Florida. We also have a few more local stores. One I did a store tour of - Donnie Aaron's but that one is almost as $ as Phantom if not more
I live in Stuart FL....not far from west palm...but there is a few good stores in Melbourne and a showroom off forest hill Dr in west palm..I forgot the name of the store but they had some amazing deals this year. I'm ging to order online next year though. You get better prices than in south Florida stores even with the cost of delivery...for example I bought some from sky King in Stuart and paid 89 bucks for a single 200 gram cake and the same thing online wholesale, the case was the same cost as the single I bought at sky King. I digress...if you know of any good shops with fair prices, please let me know. Thank you! Keep the content coming!
In the few years that I have been buying fireworks, I don't think I have ever had an over zealous sales person.... But then again I will stand in front of a firework, look it up on UA-cam or the company's site and make my own decision... Most sales people have respected this in my experience.
Agreed wholesale is the way to go...but u forgot to mention the other kind of store...”mom and pop” style shops where u can get much better retail prices...btw if ur paying more then $5-$8 bucks on bump bear retail then ur paying way to much regardless
thats right and in the process put every retail fireworks store in the nation out of business. They guess what, the wholesalers/Importers will be the only place to get fireworks and do you know what they'll charge you when they are the only places to buy from? Way more than the retail stores do now! You are probably gonna get what you wish for sooner than later but in the end you won't like it
100%. I do this in Indiana. The mom and pop stores sell you half the price, but it's not buy one get one free. This means instead of paying $200 for a box of 24 excals, you buy each box of 24 for $95. This is way better imo. Now I just have to find out how all of these dudes are getting these massive cakes. If you look around on youtube, there are guys in the US who are pulling out cakes in boxes with no labeling , and they are absolutely insane. Nobody will ever tell me where they're getting them.
@@adamdevereaux2459 Yeah well, the government hap hazard regulations on fireworks are counter intuitive. I actually find it's more dangerous to have to light several fireworks at one time, than it would be to just light a single class 1.3g cake. So really, they're not keeping anybody safe. If anything they're making fireworks more dangerous.
TNT and Phantom are the two biggest ripoffs in the industry. Anyone who shops there and helps keep those crooks in business can eat a wet fart. It always gets me when I see all of these pyro channels who claim to love this hobby, promote those stores on their channels. If you support TNT or Phantom you are not a true firework enthusiast.
I haven't shopped at Phantom or TNT since 2019 - when I was educated about ordering at Wholesale locations like American Wholesale Fireworks, WFBoom, Superior Fireworks or Four Seasons Fireworks, here in Florida.
They can charge what they want if you live by a banned state like Illinois. People drive 4 hours to load up on fireworks, only smoke bombs and sparkers are legal here, but nobody cares, just can't sell it here!
@@BoomInTheSky i usually get get deals at sheltons and half price fireworks. In Indiana. We have rozzi and phantom in ohio but they are very over priced. So i drive 25 mins to Indiana.
Consumer looking out for consumer. I buy from a family owned shop in West Alexander, Pa. He does not do BOGO. You get a percentage back based on what you purchase. Great place called DNT Fireworks. Great video.
We did OC Fireworks for most of our shopping this year, but they were already out of stuff 2 weeks ago. So we used the coupons and filled up the rest of our budget with Phantom.
Here's something else you should consider when you're shopping for fireworks.. are you the type of customer that needs 24 of the same cake? Do you have a budget that you need to stay in that would prohibit you to buy an entire case? Most BOG1/BOG2 type stores will allow you to mix and match the retail price with different items that have the same price. There are pros and cons to each.
While I appreciate that is true - The example I always use is for Bump Bear - which Phantom doesn't seem to sell anymore. I believe they were selling it for either $24.99 or $29.99 so with B1G2, you would get either 9 or 12 of them (or something at the same price) for $100. However, places like Red Apple sell 24 of them in a case for between $90 - $100, giving you 2x or 2.5x more product for the same price.
@@mikemulligan8890 Yeah - well 2 things - first - you'll need to check your math. to get the 24 cakes at Phantom assuming it was $30 B1G2 - it would cost $240. Again - they don't sell it anymore... Second - that shipping pricing is also assuming that you only bought the one case... where as the way you save is buy buying more and amortizing that over an entire palette. In many cases - it doesn't matter if you buy one case or 25 cases - what ever fits on the palette costs the same amount.
@@BoomInTheSky ANY case at $30 B1G2 yes, $240 for 24 pieces and in PA it’s 6% tax AND 12% PAF tax. So robbery no doubt. The same 24 pieces, if all someone buys wholesale, without tax, shipping to my state at $299 is also crazy. Plus I have to drive who knows where to a port to pick up so not to my doorstep. Expensive for one person either way is my point. Wish it wasn’t. 🤷🏻♂️
The best fireworks store in the northeast USA was A&W Sales in Muncy, PA. They charged 1/5 of what you would pay for the same items at Phantom Fireworks, Neptune Fireworks or Lotus Fireworks in NH. Unfortunately, they went out of business in 2009. Later, I bought my pyrotechnics at Pocono Fireworks Outlet in Tannersville, PA. They were about 10% to 13% more expensive than A&W Sales, but their prices were still a bargain compared to stores in NH, CT and NY. I stopped shopping there a few years ago when the state of PA placed a 12% tax on fireworks in addition to the 6% sales tax.
Wow ... Thanks for sharing ... I've only picked up fireworks in SC and FL.... I'm not sure if Phantom or any other BOGO place is a model of the best prices. I actually made a Part 2 to this video last year, linked in the description / first comment.
Patriotic is one of the few that doesn't screw around with the BOGO thing. Sure, their normal BOGO is all price factored together, however a few times per year they do a Buy one get 2 free and it's legit with no upping of the original price. Again, the caveat is they only do it few times per year.. Their wholesale structure is legit as well. I've been using them for 20+ years. 👍👍
Too bad this year the nevada stores are all price gouging and or out of stock. Red apple trying to sell case of 3 shells for 200-350 when previous years was under 200 for the same
Unfortunately prices across the industry are going up due to supply and demand as well as lower quantities of products. But yes - I wish it wasn't so - I bought Geisha shells for $200 or $225 last year just before the 4th of July and now they are significantly more expensive - but they are BEAUTIFUL shells - no doubt!
Unfortunately, I don't see the prices falling very fast. I have ordered containers of product from China and the freight alone on the container jumped from about $13,000 to over $26,000 per container with no end in sight. I believe prices will stay high for a few years to come unless someone comes up with a way to make fireworks closer to home.
@@wendellcayton7126 Having never purchased a container of fireworks (or anything else for that matter) - you are certainly in a better place than I am to make that assessment. However, I tend to agree based on 2nd hand stories of people familiar with the industry, that we will likely be in this unfortunate pricing predicament till at least 2022 if not 2023. I would love to see some other options for 1.4G fireworks production in the US, Mexico or somewhere closer to home. Thanks for watching and sharing your comment.
To buy "wholesale" in any industry logically infers a wholesale license number, which means you're not paying taxes for the goods you buy, which also means you have a bona-fide business license and name... Correct ? Thanks
As far as I know in the fireworks industry... There are retail prices and wholesale ... Now most places that advertise wholesale offer this to general customers.... IF they spend a certain amount... Usually $1k. However some have higher minimums like $5k. Some are only set up for those with a reseller license and I guess may require some sort of business license /number but I don't know anything about taxes or no taxes ... Maybe someone else I'm the chat does... I never really paid too much attention to it.
I suppose most of these guys are using "wholesale" as nomenclature for the colloquially "good deal." But it does appear that some of these distributors offer genuine "wholesale" to people that own businesses. Unfortunately the 76' outfit you mentioned will not let you view pricing without creating an account, which is common for genuine wholesale prices, but kinda silly for "wholesale" retail. But yeah, everything is so expensive, from $70-100 sheets of plywood to 40 cents - $1per round of 9mm ammunition. Again thanks for the timely response. I've been thinking of celebrating the 4th with a big bang, but unfortunately this year might not be conducive for money going up in smoke considering the debt I've incurred lately... I hope if I have questions in the future I can ask you, as you do seem knowledgeable... Best regards brother
Are you making shells or rockets with stars or just making stuff blow up? What about all the other chemicals ? Black powder may be good for noise but I don't think I would call that a show
@@BoomInTheSky I have most of the non toxic color chemicals, I make cut, rolled and pressed stars, red, green, blue, gold and silver. I make comets, 2" & 3" mortar shells, 1/2" and 3/4" black powder and whistle rockets. I press the whistle on a 3 ton Arbor press. I make about 10 - 12 different headings including salutes. I got a standing ovation for this year's show from my friends, it took me years to learn it all. Stay safe.
The truth about fireworks stores ? Never pay the prices listed on items if you're going to spend $100 or more. First thing you do is go to the store owner or manager and ask them (off to the side) what kind of a discount they could offer at a $100 purchase. If they don't say at least 10% ?? You're in the wrong shop.
@@GFG2gifted Any that would offer at least a 10% discount on $100. Last year I went to my local shop and they offered me 25% on $100 purchases. I dropped $500 so I ended up with $125 worth of free goodies. Bear in mind though that with the firework shortage due to Covid-19 I'm not sure how willing shop owners will be to give discounts. I have yet to visit my local shop yet so I don't know what to expect.
I hope you realize I made that video 3 years ago.... Unfortunately ALL fireworks prices have gone up, especially due to supply chain issues as well as a number of factories closing.
@@BoomInTheSky Oh I know. It's tragic. I can't believe that it's literally more than double the cost it was just a few years ago. We've all been massively robbed ... That said, I think I may go for 1.3g next year. Seems to not cost much extra for the real fireworks.
Did you pay the bills? NO! The difference is you "Worked" at a place, you were an "Employee" at a place so you know "NOTHING" about what the true cost to run that place and pay you and all the other employee's really cost now do you? I don't think so! Funny how people who "Worked" somewhere think they know whats going on when in truth they aren't any smarter than the average customer as to how things work in the REAL WORLD OF BUSINESS!
@@jtarman70 Umm...when one store is selling blonde joke for 69 bucks and the honest store is selling it for 30 bucks...in the same state...someone is ripping people off...so stay quiet...these fireworks stores that are charging 125 for a NOAB and then you go to another and pay 80..please...RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!!!!!!!!
I'll have to take your word for it for a few reasons - A.) I live in an apt and don't have anywhere to store pyro - more than a few cakes here or there. B.) Most of the stores near me are those ones I mentioned that are BOGO and Big name Pyro brands - TNT, Phantom, etc. I haven't found any local mom and pop type stores near me. When I see other folks post vids of store tours with 500g cakes costing $20 - $50... it kills me.
Actually the math is worse than that... I explored this more in the 2nd version of this video from 2020. I give the example of Bump bear... A case was $91 for 24 x bump bears... Where as at Phantom it is $24 or 29 for 2....
I used to go to tnt fireworks every year almost whole entire childhood. Being a 20 year old and your right they are outrigouly expensive. It used to be cheaper than it was starting to climb up the price. Being born and raised in miami Florida That's was the choice I had. I moved to highland county in Florida and realized their is a lot of pop up tents late June and all of them sell the good stuff that goes up in the air which something that I never know. I went to some, and galaxy fireworks was my favorite local tent to go. It's a bit expensive but not to expensive as tnt. I never experience phantom but I heard of it. Here in Florida I can't find any wholesale fireworks near me or looking for a good deal which it's tough to get it here in florida. Right now I still stick with galaxy fireworks, almost all of the 500 gram cakes are better and cheaper than tnt or phantom.
Abel - When I moved to Florida 6 years ago, I found TNT in Dania Beach and was always amazed how expensive products were in the BOGO price structure. $200 for 2x 30 second cakes = $200/minute. Last year, after moving further north, I found Phantom Fireworks up in WPB which had a similar BOGO price structure, but also had discounts and B1G2 which at least brought prices down by a third. - Still not great but better. Last year's 4th of July show was almost entirely Phantom products with a few random left overs from TNT. But for New Years Eve, I ordered online at WFBoom. This year for the 4th of July, I've placed a few orders from various places including WFBoom, American Wholesale Fireworks and Red Apple which will all be delivered soon. I know its only a few days left but if you shop at Red Apple, they have free shipping for any order of $999+ till the end of this month. Check them out Visit Red Apple Fireworks Online: www.redapplefireworks.com/?rfsn=3999852.74988b - Use Code "BoomInTheSky" to save $10 They will literally ship them direct to your door.
The reason you can’t find any Wholesale Fireworks in the state of Florida, is because almost all Fireworks are illegal here by law! These Fireworks companies such as: Blackcat, TNT and Phantom are exploiting a loophole in the law that says if you’re looking to scare birds away from crops and fish hatchery’s, that you can buy fireworks for that reason. Or if you’re looking to illuminate a stretch of railroad! So they make you sign a waiver, basically absolving themselves of any responsibility, and put you in a position to lie about the reason that you’re buying them to begin with!!! They know damn well that everyone who goes into those places are buying fireworks for recreational use! It has nothing to do with the damn birds and fish hatchery nonsense!!! So they basically make you sign a form and perjure yourself, so that they can sell you illegal fireworks, in a state that you’re not even supposed to be using them to begin with! They make so much damn money off this stuff, and it’s nothing but a double standard and a bunch of BS!!! They should just change the law and allow fireworks to be legalized, taxed and sold instead of the current corrupt system that exists!
Abel Roman every year I waste $200 on safe and sane bullshit but 2017 I got ballsy enough to get illegal fireworks then got caught now I have to go back to tnt safe and sane stuff
@@vce.john1734 damn a couple of days ago i just got my excaliburs from a guy and i live in cali. I used to always use safe n sane but i got older i knew more about pyros in my area so i decided to buy some havent gotten caught in 3 years:))
I hope you figured out a way to store your fireworks so that you can get wholesale cases. I know this an old video but I have a house in Broward County in Hollywood Florida. I'd be willing to help with storage and possibly splitting up an order. Again I know this offer is coming late but if you are looking for a partner for the 4th 2023, I'd be very interested in discussing this with you further. Anyway I hope you have a great 4th of July this year! ✌
Yes .... First, Thanks for watching ... Second... Thanks for recognizing it is an old video.... Third, yes .... A friend lets me store fireworks in his warehouse and have shifted to only order wholesale from a few different places... American Wholesale Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks and picking up at Four Season Fireworks up in Florida.
Awesome! After years and years of buying TNT and Phantom, I've decided that I am ordering wholesale next year. Have you had any issues with damaged product or missing products? I got to admit the idea of shipping thousands of dollars worth of fireworks gives me anxiety just thinking about how it could go wrong.
@@DjSpinMaster No issues here ... The good thing is I've had them delivered to a warehouse that has a forklift so can deliver on a regular truck versus having to pick up at a shipping depot. Next time you plan on ordering, hmu... My email address is in the about section of my channel....
They are expensive because there are only a certain number of licenses to operate fireworks stores. They import for pennies on the dollar and have a virtual monopoly to sell them. It’s like a license to print money.
chk your state laws most dont require like having guns and ammo shipped to you lol (the guns part was a joke i dont know of any state tht will let you receive a firearm thru mail unless its an ffl)
At least yall have stores open year round. Id pay 10$ a box for sparklers if I could get them year round in my state. Gotta spend 100$ in gas just to get out to a 365 store
bogo and 50% are all you see in NH. (except this year one of my favs went to just %40 off and it seems business suffered for them lol) once in a while they will have normal pricing lol
WHOLESALE. GROUP BUY. WHOLESALE. GROUP BUY. can't say it enough. If you would like to be part of our GROUP in sarasota respond to this I will get back to you!!🧨💣🎇🎆🤯
Thanks for the invite - but I'm good - i've pretty much ordered all of the fireworks i will be ordering this year. Since I live in Ft. Lauderdale - wouldn't be easy to get in on a group buy either.
@@richardturnier1671 orange park just south of Jacksonville. Check out their website. If you're interested you could go in with our group buy and save a ton of money buying wholesale. You didn't bring up mom and pop stores. They are the best places to go to. They sell different brands at low prices and some of them sell by the case too. You are in Florida try to find a mom and pop store in Georgia or south Carolina to go to. Try fort Mill south carolina
I was actually in Fort Mill SC last year but was unfortunately driving north and was flying back home - I've kind of gone the online order route since Fort Mill is like 9 or 10 hours north and would pay even more in gas.
It depends on which wholesale outlet. Some will ship to your house while others make you pick it up at the UPS or FedEx warehouse in your area. Red Apple allows you to pay a little more to deliver it to your house.
The mom and pop tents in Missouri rip you off worse than the big warehouses. It's insane! I will not be doing anything other than wholesale orders from now on.
Wholesale is the way to go - 100% - I've almost exclusively been buying through wholesale for the past year and a half. I recommend American Wholesale Fireworks and WFBoom or Red Apple for mail orders and this year started going to Four Seasons Fireworks in FL and Jabs in SC but neither of them ship. I've never been to Missouri so have no experience.
Red Apple sells products in their stores in pieces and will ship directly to you with cases. Through the end of the month, they have free shipping for orders of $999+ - I know its a lot but the amount of fireworks you will get - especially with smaller cases of 200g where you will get 8, 12, 16 or 24 of one cake for the same price you would pay for 6 at the BOGO or B1G2 stores. Visit Red Apple Fireworks Online: www.redapplefireworks.com/?rfsn=3999852.74988b Use Code "BoomInTheSky" to save $10
Unfortunately I don't know. I did a drive from Florida to North Carolina but never explored the fireworks scene in Maryland. Best recommendation is order online at American Wholesale Fireworks, WFBoom or Red Apple Fireworks and have them delivered. If you shop at Red Apple, there is a link and discount code in the description below.
Bro I’m from Maryland and no we are terrible. Our law is bad. MD only permits sparklers and pop snappers and it’s because too many bad people blew off their hand or injured themselves doing stupid stuff. I wish we did have the stores in MD.
Back in the 1950s thru mid 1960s New Jersey Fireworks Company, Vineland New Jersey/Elkton Maryland, made the best Fireworks. M80s, Cherry Bombs, Ashcans, Aerial Bombs. I miss those days.
@@BoomInTheSky Ground Bloom Flowers, those pink things that spin on the ground. I kind of gave up and just drove to Nevada to pick up some good stuff lol
There aren't too many options in South Florida. Trust me I've looked. There is TNT in Dania Beach which is BOGO. There is a Phantom up in West Palm Beach and I think another in the Keys. There is one I haven't yet been to called The Fireworks Lady which sells a lot of Winda and also supplies a bunch of product to tents in South Florida. There's also one called Donnie Aaron's in Boca (I think). I reviewed it on my channel last year. If you want to head up the west side of Florida, check out Galaxy Fireworks in Fort Meyers and Tampa. I reviewed the Tampa store as well. Hope that helps
Thanks - it was a learning experience for me as well - I kept seeing other pyros buy product for WAY less than I was paying at one of these BOGO places. I plan on buying fireworks from either Red Apple Fireworks, Spirit of 76 or WF Boom for my New Years show.
A thousand? Those are rookie numbers. Need to pump those numbers up. Spend 5 or 6k yearly. Start buying a month or 2 after the 4th. To the 4th the following year.
Please keep in mind that this was shot in 2019 after my FIRST fireworks show. I have since placed orders with American Wholesale Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks and Four Seasons Fireworks and probably spend closer to $4000 or maybe $5000 / year. Either way - thanks for watching - I actually made a part 2 to this video but this is the one that gets recommended in search more often.
@@mojolojo8605 Depending on where you are based and what you are looking for - I'd look into American Wholesale Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks, Spirit of 76 and WFBoom - There are a bunch of others but I haven't ordered from them before so I can't say.
@@BoomInTheSky I do buy by the case. I go to what Missouri calls the candy shop. They had great prices year around. But because of gas and container prices they have went up. Allot of the off brand fireworks do do the same and are cheaper but coming from someone whom has a a husband that takes them apart then makes them the 3 inch noab cakes half of the off brand other than phantom it's a 1.75 inch she'll made correct with the stars on the walls of the shells even and rice hulls or black powder in the center with flash powder as a booster inside a real 3 inch she'll to make it look bigger somehow it works for avarage consumer people that do not know better nd it's too late once you set it off and it's a disappointing thing than what's expected it preformes nice but is no where near a 3 inch true shell and it's not like one at all in hight and break or anything just buy phantom or get it blatf permit nd get the good sh*+
Thanks for watching but I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say. Are you saying I SHOULD buy Phantom products or agreeing I shouldn't? I am in No way suggesting that a 3 inch NOAB is anywhere equal to a true 3 Inch Display shell.
I shot off a bunch of stuff about a week ago - have to go through it all and edit the videos... I had recorded this one about a month ago so figured I'd get it posted. Have some other ones too...
so this was a lesson between retail and wholesale? wow thanks i am pretty sure unless you are 5 years old people understrand the difference. how about some links to the cheapest places a normal person can get stuff.
i used big fireworks this year i spent $1,800 with shipping and i got a pallet that had to be 7' tall and i stored them in my apt. lol and ill never buy phantom they did a sting on my local mom & pop stores so now they don't carry the real good stuff no more
@@rustypelucas My mom told me about it on the 4th, I asked her what store, but she didn’t know which one. I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus but if I had to guess it was most likely a big national chain store.
Remember those fireworks shows when you were a kid? The ones where there was an eternity between each one being shot and you were always wondering when the next one is coming? That's what this video is like! You take forever to get to the point....
BOGO or B1G2 is almost never the best deal. Essentially, they take a case that is made up of 4, 6, 12 or even 24 and they sell you 2 for the "price" of one or 3 for the "price" of 1, but what most people don't realize is they've marked the one cake up by 500 percent so even with B1G2, you are still paying over 200% markup. For example - using that example of Bump Bear - at the BOGO / B1G2 store, you pay (i think) $24.99 and you walk away with 3 pieces of Bump Bear. Somewhere that sells a case of 24 of them for $95 puts the price of them at just under $4/per, which means that 3 of them SHOULD cost around $12 or $13... even $15 would be a good price - but $8 or $9 per unit is terrible.
phantom fireworks is a rip off, they said as military i get 50% off, every thing in there was over 100 for 500g cakes and over 200 for 500g "finales". i spent 500 bucks on 3 fireworks that i thought would be great finales... i had small cakes that performed better. no not recommend.
Not sure where you live ... But I made part 2 to this video ( pinned in the comments... Check it out ... And hopefully it helps). Take a look at American Wholesale Fireworks. They only have a 200 it 300 minimum on orders... Unfortunately you have to pay shipping but if you order a bunch or get some friends to chip in and share the cost, it is much better
@@BoomInTheSky i watched it after this video lol. im deff looking into that next year. went to place called firework supercenter i think and got much better prices, but wholesale... cant beat that
Unfortunately - prices across the entire fireworks industry are higher this year due to significant increases in shipping costs and shortages. I did a video about it a few days ago.
The funny thing is I actually AM a public speaker - the challenge is that I don't use a teleprompter or even write a script. - HOWEVER - in this video when I DID use a teleprompter - its much better. ua-cam.com/video/btrHBnA7UQs/v-deo.html

Spend the extra to get cases and you can even keep half the case and sell the rest to your friends! Then it’s near free
You can keep all you're money and watch other people shoot them for free at several public places and pretend you spent the money!!!
@@michaelbauer5081 LMFAO me and my fiance literaly just did that after we got done with ours. we were at her dads in staten island and we watched 3 diffrent people up close shoot theres off in the neighborhood. i literaly said too, "why tf did i even buy any when we couldve just did this?!" 🤣
Well if you want a lot of fireworks you are gonna be spending over 100. So spending like 400 or 500 and then getting 30% off is the best deal.
Absolutely.
Now stores don’t do “Buy one get one free” they do “buy one get one 50% off” exactly the same thing.
No, that would be a 25% discount. (First, $10, 2nd, $5. Total 15 divided by 2 = $7.50 each.
You sure about that?
That is a good point which i hadn't really considered but I think we all appreciate better pricing than the BOGO stores offer -
I live in Florida and we don't really have any mom and pop type stores that I know of but rather have, for the most part, 3 firework brands, Phantom, TNT and Sky King.
Another bonus about online shopping is you don't have to deal with over zealous salesmen ...
@@NikoBased those are “pro”, can’t buy them without a ATF explosives license.
Well there made in China so it’s the same crap
They can charge what they want if you live by a banned state like Illinois. People drive 4 hours to load up on fireworks, only smoke bombs and sparkers are legal here, but nobody cares, just can't sell it here!

I live 6 hours from wfboom and 3 hours from a red apple and it’s is the best thing ever
I'm jealous! I can get to the top of Florida in about 5 hours - maybe 6 - and can get to Superior Fireworks.
Then you have that store where you can buy a brick of ground booms for a dollar😂
Fr
We did OC Fireworks for most of our shopping this year, but they were already out of stuff 2 weeks ago. So we used the coupons and filled up the rest of our budget with Phantom.
Yeah, but what am I gonna do with 2160 Morning Glories and 4000 ground blooms, 20,000 snap pops
First off great video research research is the key in buying fireworks buy the case always cheaper
@@BoomInTheSky Though if it’s $100 to ship, then it’s 24 for $200 and phantom would also be 24 for $200.
@@mikemulligan8890 yeah ... I've never purchased in PA...
It’s not price gouging… there is literally a supply shortage and demand hasn’t changed, therefore prices increase. Very principle economics.
They will build up inventory now that people are going back to work. Prices will fall. Maybe not to the same price as before, but certainly less.

Prices across the fireworks industry (lots of other industries for that matter) have gone up this year due to significant shipping increases
So which shops do you recommend?
@@GFG2gifted Any that would offer at least a 10% discount on $100. Last year I went to my local shop and they offered me 25% on $100 purchases. I dropped $500 so I ended up with $125 worth of free goodies. Bear in mind though that with the firework shortage due to Covid-19 I'm not sure how willing shop owners will be to give discounts. I have yet to visit my local shop yet so I don't know what to expect.

I used to go to tnt fireworks every year almost whole entire childhood. Being a 20 year old and your right they are outrigouly expensive. It used to be cheaper than it was starting to climb up the price. Being born and raised in miami Florida
That's was the choice I had.

Excellent points! I as well grew up in Jersey only way I ever had fireworks was Chinatown NYC lol
Watch part 2 ... I went back and revised my video with updated and more accurate information
@@BoomInTheSky 🙌
Back in the 1950s thru mid 1960s New Jersey Fireworks Company, Vineland New Jersey/Elkton Maryland, made the best Fireworks. M80s, Cherry Bombs, Ashcans, Aerial Bombs. I miss those days.

I’m in California, you can buy 6 individual ground blooms for 3 dollars!! Rip off!
Which product are you referring to?
@@BoomInTheSky Ground Bloom Flowers, those pink things that spin on the ground. I kind of gave up and just drove to Nevada to pick up some good stuff lol

@@SC-gh6gd tnt fireworks stand in inglewood. That’s why I just go to nv for bricks of ground blooms for the same price.

ok guys i need some help! im in the south side of fl what are good retail stores round me that is not wholesale
Great information for savings Boom. Thank you! 🎆👍😊
Thanks - it was a learning experience for me as well - I kept seeing other pyros buy product for WAY less than I was paying at one of these BOGO places. I plan on buying fireworks from either Red Apple Fireworks, Spirit of 76 or WF Boom for my New Years show.
Do they sell fireworks after the 4th of July?
I'm sure some of them got WIPED OUT before the 4th - I know Four Seasons Fireworks and American Wholesale Fireworks will have to restock...
@@BoomInTheSky I have yet to buy wholesale. Gonna try that after the fourth this year. Thanks for the videos
@@mojolojo8605 Depending on where you are based and what you are looking for - I'd look into American Wholesale Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks, Spirit of 76 and WFBoom - There are a bunch of others but I haven't ordered from them before so I can't say.
So wait - You've been spending $6k at RETAIL? Yikes! - you will have SO many more fireworks when you buy by the case.
@@BoomInTheSky I do buy by the case. I go to what Missouri calls the candy shop. They had great prices year around. But because of gas and container prices they have went up. Your getting good prices compared to most. I hit all the tents around me as well. That's why I say ballpark around 6k. Thanks for the info on wholesale sites.
The best way to enjoy fireworks, is let someone else spend the money and you watch for free or maybe buy some beer for them. Enjoy
I have a bunch of other people who donate to the fireworks fund but then I find what product I want and pick it up and put on the show. ....
Thanks for the info
Between Georgia and Florida are the cheapest. Buy 1 get 2free..yess.. u'll see the sign up on billboards driving down
Yes sir buy by the case alot cheaper, I'm glad you did your research, now go by some cases and do more demos to post LOL
I shot off a bunch of stuff about a week ago - have to go through it all and edit the videos... I had recorded this one about a month ago so figured I'd get it posted. Have some other ones too...
@@BoomInTheSky sounds good to me can't wait to see them 👍
ON AND ON
Guys I’m heading to Orlando, FL and I was going to buy from Phantom but dang it! 😂 he made me change my mind I agree it’s very expensive!
Go check out Four Seasons Fireworks in DeLand
Yea im tryna get whosale
Dude! Over 70k views 🤩 wow
1. tnt horrible expensive prices appeal to family that doesnt know much about fireworks
2. phantom slash huge chains horrible
anything else is good
Oh trust me - i don't shop at either one of those stores anymore....
so this was a lesson between retail and wholesale? wow thanks i am pretty sure unless you are 5 years old people understrand the difference. how about some links to the cheapest places a normal person can get stuff.
American wholesale fireworks check them out brother.
I've ordered from them 3 times - Keep in mind this video was made back in 2019 -
i used big fireworks this year i spent $1,800 with shipping and i got a pallet that had to be 7' tall and i stored them in my apt. lol and ill never buy phantom they did a sting on my local mom & pop stores so now they don't carry the real good stuff no more
2323kawasaki1616 they did the same in Wisconsin, a person dropped 5 grand and they called the cops when he got into an illegal county they busted him.
@@MeanLaQueefa who called the cops on that guy? The shop he purchased from?
@@rustypelucas My mom told me about it on the 4th, I asked her what store, but she didn’t know which one. I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus but if I had to guess it was most likely a big national chain store.
you might want to see if you can evan have fireworks ship to Florida i think you can not some places won't ship to Florida
I have had them shipped to me for New Years last year and Fourth of July this year.
@Whoop!!
Remember those fireworks shows when you were a kid? The ones where there was an eternity between each one being shot and you were always wondering when the next one is coming? That's what this video is like! You take forever to get to the point....
Thanks ... I look forward to seeing your videos soon
@@BoomInTheSky word up brother
Sky king has buy 1 get 2 free. So we can save lots of stuff
Skyking is the best store in Florida
I prefer Four Seasons Fireworks in DeLand or Superior up in Northern Florida
@@BoomInTheSky lol four seasons is good too i was just there cup days ago
@@locspimp I just picked up my last wholesale order from FSF on Saturday
I have been buying wholesale for years
phantom fireworks is a rip off, they said as military i get 50% off, every thing in there was over 100 for 500g cakes and over 200 for 500g "finales". i spent 500 bucks on 3 fireworks that i thought would be great finales... i had small cakes that performed better. no not recommend.

Damn i couldnt followthis guy at all. He definitely is not a public speaker. Lol im more confused now after watching him.
The funny thing is I actually AM a public speaker - the challenge is that I don't use a teleprompter or even write a script. - HOWEVER - in this video when I DID use a teleprompter - its much better. ua-cam.com/video/btrHBnA7UQs/v-deo.html
