Mate, you rock! I've never given that much thought to how FX worked, but now everything just started clicking into place. Gotta watch and read everything you've put out :) Thank you! I hope the Divine Algorithm will bless you with many more views!
Thanks mate, I'm glad to hear! When I started out I had so much trouble putting information together as well. It's still a new channel (plenty of stuff on the website though), but I'll keep trying to put stuff like this out. They're fun to make and help, so that's a win-win.
Good stuff. I haven’t worked on a pedal for a few weeks because I prefer to finish the enclosures first. I have to spray outside but it’s been too cold. This gives me something to do while I’m waiting on a good day to paint
I had no idea you could use about $1 in discrete components to make a distortion pedal. Just a transistor, 2 diodes, and a few caps and reisistors... crazy! Do more circuits. Id love to see more 'advanced' circuits with true bypass or whatever else might make a 'real' pedal.
Thanks! A lot of these smaller circuits are cheap to make - often the enclosure is more expensive than the components themselves. I have a lot planned for this channel and do want to give some light analysis to larger/more famous circuits, I'm just starting basic for now as I learn about this whole "UA-cam thing." In the short term, schematics for stuff I've built in the last year can be found here (crazychickenguitarpedals.com/guitar-pedal-blog/category/guitar-pedal-builds/).

@@samgendron887 there's always something to play with. Have fun!
Thank you very easy to understand im excited to give this a go ive tried a couple others and struggled this seems alot easier to understand
@paulbeddoe822 thanks mate. I try to be thorough without overwhelming.
That was fascinating, thanks so much for the detailed explanations.
@@Godmil thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
