Really nice tool to have in the van. You'll have a lot to do in this spring on the van I see :D
How do you plan to use this charger in the van? Will it be connected to an outside outlet when you will camp somewhere and have access to 220V outlets?
    Good luck with the work!

Thanks for the comment. Yes it will be connected to an outside outlet. Just need to find a spot on the van to make a hole for it, as my van don't have a westfalia AC inlet yet. ua-cam.com/video/r7bnumOgr-g/v-deo.html

You can’t really lay this down. It should be mounted on the wall. Some versions of this get very hot so they can overheat.

If you have two batteries, and one is more discharged, I’m assuming that the charger will automatically stop charging the battery that didn’t need as much charge and continue to charge the other battery?

I will like buy the Victron. Or manufacturer of my AmpereTime 12V/230Ah lithium battery. AmpereTime’s battery charger is more expensive on Japanese Amazon or I would definitely buy from then. Great company. Bought a 24V battery back in Nov but never opened it. Decided to make my system 12V. They let me return the battery after more than 6 months after purchase. Giandel did the same thing with their 24V inverter. They even paid return postage.
I’m contacting the company I purchase my 24v-12v converter and 24 volt charger. Both Victron. If they let me return those I’m buying from them.

Hi! brilliant! how do you know the different state of each battery? if each battery begins with a different state of charge, how does it give a different protocolo (bulk, absorption, float..) to each of them? best,

The outputs of multiple-out chargers are FET isolated, so each connected battery is charged according to its independent SOC. Obviously the total charging current across all batteries will not exceed the current rating of the charger (ie a 7A charger will put out a maximum total current of 7A, not 7A per connection), but yes, a depleted battery on output 1 will receive far more of the charge current than a mostly full battery on output 2, etc."

Those charging wires are not that thin. A 10mm2 or 8 AWG wire is more than enough to pass 30A up to 5-6 meters.

Common means that we only need to plug one negative cable to one of the batteries? Or should we plug one negative cable in EACH battery?

Hi, thank you for producing this excellent informative video. Could i ask a question please? I have just installed 2x115a/h LiFePO4 batteries in my mobility scooter. I am a disability pensioner with issues including weakness in my fingers and mobility. I use my scooter most days and have the charger mounted on the wall and was wondering if it is necessary to physically turn the charger off at the wall once it is charged or is it ok to leave it on and just repeat the connection/disconnection process each time I use it. Many thanks, Gordon
