This super light guitar weighs just 7.00 lbs. Solid mahogany body with rounded edges. One-piece mahogany neck with a nice, fat nut width of just under 1 11/16 inches, a standard Gibson scale length of 24 3/4 inches and that great '59 "baseball bat" style profile. Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 22 original jumbo frets and inlaid pearl dot position markers. Headstock with "Gibson" logo and "Les Paul / Junior" silk-screened in gold. Black plastic bell-shaped truss-rod cover with two screws. Closed-back single-line Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white plastic oval buttons. Serial number inked-on in black on the back of the headstock. One super hot black P-90 pickup with a huge output of 8.33k. Black plastic pickup cover stamped on the underside "UC - 450 - 1 / 2". Single-ply 'tortoiseshell' plastic (0.08 inches thick) pickguard with four screws. Two controls (one volume, one tone) on the lower treble bout. Black plastic bell-shaped "Bell" knobs. The potentiometers are stamped "134 924" (Centralab, June 1959) and the capacitor is the requisite 'Bumble-Bee' type. Combination "wrap-over" bar bridge/stud tailpiece. There is a tiny amount of belt buckle 'scarring' on the back of the guitar - but nothing actually through the finish. There are a few small 'dings' on the sides of the body, the only one that is really noticeable (1/2 x 1/4 inch ding/dent) is on the lower bass edge. There is one very small surface chip on the bass side of the neck by the second fret and a couple of tiny indentations behind the twelfth fret. The body and neck are a rich cherry color with no fading and no finish checking… just a few very small and insignificant marks on the top by the bass horn and on the upped treble-edge of the body neat the jack input. Otherwise this incredible fifty-seven year old 'under-the-bed' guitar is in 'as near mint as one could ask for condition'. The original 'jumbo' frets show just a miniscule amount of playing wear, the fretboard shows no wear. One of the best looking and best sounding 'Double-Cut' Les Paul Juniors that we have ever handled. Housed in the original Gibson brown 'Aligator' softshell case with brown felt lining, handle broken (8.50).
I don't get why people feel the need to comment about how they won't watch because it's not Phil. Jared is doing great, and he's a fantastic musician with charisma to boot. We all love Phil, but he's on tour, get over it.

After seeing Jared on FA, I searched him on UA-cam, and surprised to hear he has a very touching success story in his young years. Humble dude who knows his instrument. Highly gifted. I'm digesting all his material now.

I bought one of these when I was like 16 or 17 years old. I used to bend the neck to get whammy bar effects, and a little crack showed up in the next joint, and I paid 135 for it, I sold it for $150, and I thought I did good. I wish I had that guitar still!

Does anyone know if Phils PX90 will fit normal guitars like an LP? He makes the PX100, which is humbucker sized....so it's confusing.
