the first half reminds me of Evgeni Kissin's Dodecaphonic Tango and as I also enjoy Schnittke and Indonesian music, this was very interesting to hear.

The whole piece is vibes and marimba? Is it called gamelan tango because it's using motifs from Bali gamelan music?
