In this video, I give you guys a quick information guide about the NASM-CPT program overviewing the cost, difficulty, course information, and more. I know this video is different from what I usually post, but I had gotten a lot of questions in regards to their program and wanted to clear some of the questions for you guys!

If you are wanting to get into personal training and are not sure whether on not to choose NASM or do not know which CPT program provider to choose, hopefully this can help you guys make your decision because I know it can get overwhelming!
A little bit about me and the channel: My name is Delilah Morales, I'm a 18 year old who loves teaching others the topic of running, strength training, muscle building, and dieting. It is truly my passion to help people who are struggling with their fitness/performance/health journey and educating you all on how to optimize your training in and outside the gym! In the past I used to struggle with all of these, but now I want to educate others on how to fix that and to leave knowing way more than last time. I am a NASM certified personal trainer and plan to pursue my life the entreprenuerial way.

I'm considering taking the NASM and was wondering if this certification made you feel comfortable designing workout plans and meal plans for clients? I think that's my biggest issue right now, imposter syndrome haha! Any info is appreciated! TIA
If you had to start over again would I go with NASM or ISSA? (Now that ISSA is considered to be gold standard and have the option to take the other version of the exam that’s not open book to be NCCA accredited)

I heard ISSA is less science based and more client friendly based. I wish I knew that before purchasing NASM
I don’t think that it’s 65% pass rate on the first try, I think that they factor in second/third/fourth tries in that stat

Can I take the cpr course with NASM or would I have to take on separate web and if so how would I show them I have the cpr certification
So with NASM you would have to take the CPR part separate from Nasm. I recommend Red Cross. When you take the exam at home, the test promoter will ask you to show your certification on camera. So be sure to have it printed! :)

Yes you can work at a gym or be your own independent consultant

Hey I bought the hard copy of the book & been studying that… would I need to buy the package you’re talking about to take the test or can I just pay to take the test separately
Hey! And as far as I know, I don’t think so. I’ve looked and I’ve seen no option for that. If you want to take the test only, it will probably just cost the same as if you were paying for the whole package. So I’m my opinion, I would just get the package. You get lots of study guides, quizzes, and other types of information that will help you with the exam that the study guide alone doesn’t give. You would want to pass the first time because if you don’t you’ll have to pay for another test. So I would just get the simplest package!
And if payment is a issue, they offer payment plans :) good luck!!

Hi Delilah, I am already CPR certified. Would you mind explaining the AED certification?
Hi! And the AED certification is much different from the CPR. What AED stands for is automated external defibrillator. It a medical device that helps those who are experiencing cardiac arrest. It analyzes the person heart rhythm and sends any necessary shock to the persons heart to help with their heart rhythm. Basically what the certification does is help train you to successfully utilize the AED machine. The course takes only 1 to maybe 2 hours to finish. It’s quiet simple.
