I turned 80 this year. And I firmly believe five years ago if I would’ve stayed the same weight probably wouldn’t have made it to 76 had diabetes or about seven years, taking metformin every day. Had had two heart attacks with nine stents in my heart. The diabetes has completely gone away and no more problems with my heart and praise God I returned to the love of Jesus. Praise him every day. I don't do New Year's resolutions because nobody ever keeps them. But when I got bronchitis this month and it's been one of the worst cases I've had yet I decided to quit smoking before my birthday in June. This year they found that I had a rare blood disorder where I have too many red blood cells and smoking is making it worse so I have made the decision it's time. The biggest regret of my life is that I ever started smoking in the first place and I know that with the Lord's help and my family's support I will succeed at this. I certainly would not mind y'all praying for me though because prayer is the most powerful tool that we have. My name is Amber and I am a wife mother and grandmother who would like to see my great-grandchildren born if at all possible. God bless and be with you all and I will continue to pray for healing for your dad. My husband and I have been married for a very long time our children are between 31 and 36 years old and we have been truly blessed that the Lord has watched over us provided for and protected us and our marriage for all of these years.
Too many red blood cells? That happens to me when I experience inflammation from eating too much bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. If I keep those portions very low I don't experience inflammation and my red blood cells are normal. If you're having inflammation, you might look into whatever is causing it. The only way to figure it out is to eliminate the suspected culprits and then recheck.
Walking helps you lose weight and I’ve lost 40 lbs and still walk over a mile a day and kept it off! Going on 3 years now! So yall Can Do It!! Continued prayers for Phil and Ms Kay and entire Robertson family!! ❤❤❤

Al, I can really resonate with your goal. While yours is 60 by 60, mine was 50 by 50. Sadly, I have to admit that I’ve utterly failed to achieve it. In fact, I’ve found myself slipping into a discouraging “why bother?” mindset, which has been hard to shake off. Even so, I’m holding on to hope. By the grace of God, I trust that I’ll find my way out of this rut and back on track. Sometimes, the journey feels heavier than we expect, but I believe that with faith, perseverance, and a renewed perspective, there’s still a way forward. It’s never too late to start again, even if it’s just one small step at a time.
Gotta say I love you all my son was born with a cleft pallet also. Thank you for showing the journey of your family for so many years that type of wholesome TV is missed these days.

Al , I started eating smaller portions and walking. I lost thirty pounds and have kept it off. Nutritionist say we all overeat. Haven't cut out any foods just eat smaller portions. I eat less but still feel full

I started it less than a year ago and have lost 15 pounds without doing anything but incorporating protein timing of 25 to 30 g at each meal, combined with 5 g of fiber. I literally have done nothing else. I kept the weight off even through the holidays. Please consider listening to it… It will change your life!

Yes - Please look into this! You get to eat until you're full. Other than eliminating foods, it doesn't feel like dieting. Losing weight isn't even the best part of this way of eating. It cured so many health problems that I thought were just part of aging. (Look up Dr. Ken Berry.)

My husband and I have been married 26 years. When he proposed he we said to each other “you will always be my second love” Jesus of course being our first love. We have 2 children and we homeschooled both through high school in a biblical worldview. Our son is now working for a Christian school and our daughter will soon be marrying a wonderful Christian young man. We will be empty nesters soon and since April, all of a sudden we aren’t harmonious in Him anymore. We argue the most about the Word and our individual understanding of it. We know and embrace the love and respect in Ephesians 5 but all of a sudden it seems like we are in the middle of intense spiritual warfare against each other. Selfless love needs to be restored. I would definitely welcome any prayer for our marriage. Praying for your families as well.
We are not granted “ individual understanding” scripture rightly divided interprets itself. If something does not align with all of scripture we are not understanding it. What points are you all disagreeing on?
@dfischer5878 my husband wants to share the Word in a timeline format from Genesis to Revelation to whoever will listen (so far so good). We have NOT been in any church fellowship for a year now. This is concerning to me. I told him I can’t be your only accountability partner. He believes a fellowship will just rise up as like minded people respond. (Ok maybe, not sure that’s scriptural according to First Timothy). But I have a hard time with what he is sharing when he says to me and anyone else- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is only for the Jews and as the Church we need to focus on Paul’s revealed writings. I welcome any input. I’m trying to be a supportive wife and honor his headship…I believe he understands the word with head knowledge and not so much applying it to his heart
As they were discussing the aspects of Christ and marriage, there were a couple of scriptures that came to mind. One is Matthew 23:12 “he that is greatest among you shall be servant of all.” The other is 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you”. Jesus‘s actions on this earth are the ultimate example of these two verses. He was the greatest among us, and yet he was the servant of all. And he humbled himself to die on the cross, and as a result of his humility, his name is exalted above every other name. And these two qualities are essential for us in marriage as well. We should serve each other and we should be humble when leading and submitting. I hope this is helpful to anyone who reads it. Let me know if you think differently … would be happy to discuss it. But we do know that after The Father said this, He created TWO beings, and Eve was taken out of Adam, which is a representation of The Son of God coming forth from His Father in Heaven. Two beings being created is the image, and Eve coming forth out of Adam is the likeness. Matthew 28:19, “ Baptizing them in The Name, of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, two things, first, Jesus said in vs. 18 that all power had been given to Him, in heaven, and on earth, power represents authority, all authority has been given to Him from His Father. And we know that Jesus is: THE FATHER of the redeemed race. THE SON of the living God. And He is THE HOLY SPIRIT OF TRUTH. So we baptize in THE NAME, singular, of Jesus Christ. This is evidenced in the book of Acts, as all baptisms were done in HIS NAME, JESUS! Matthew 28:19 is not a formula of words that need to be spoken at a baptism, it is whose authority we are baptized under. John 1:1-5 is speaking of only two beings, this is a paraphrase of it “ In The beginning of creation was The Son of God, and The Son of God was with The God, who is His Father, and The Son of God was also fully God, due to His Sonship from God, and The Son was in The beginning of creation with God. All things were made by His Father, but they were made by, and through, His Son. Without His Son there was nothing made, that was made. Jesus did nothing on His Own, only what He hears from His Father, that is what He does. Collossians 2:9, “ In Gods Son dwells all the fullness of His Fathers divinity”. The word GODHEAD means divinity, or divine nature, it doesn’t speak to a number of beings. It pleased His Father that all His fullness of divinity would dwell in His Son, all things that Christ has, and all that He is, was given to Him by His Father, it is an inheritance. I praise God for our gift, that He wants us to be joint heirs with His Son, and partake of His divine nature. Every verse you mentioned, and the many more that you spoke of, Only confirm The Oneness of God, who is The Father of Jesus Christ, and of The Love that He has for His Only Born Son, and for us. The only proven long term weight loss program is LEARNING nutrition. Get a good certified nutritionalist to educate and teach you. Don’t think pounds ….think changing to a new healthy eating program ..the weight will automatically start dropping. Don’t think weight ….think nutrition.
The last 10 years I have without knowing read the whole New Testament because I just enjoy and daily read the Bible. I now focus one books and studying it all year and still read the whole new testament again. If you know the gospels Leviticus come alive.
Al, leave all bread out of your regular meals, I mean hamburger buns, hot dog buns, biscuits, cornbread, no donuts, and you will find that you really don’t want them., after a few months you can incorporate a few things but you’ll find it’s not really what you want … it’s amazing.. and you don’t need any outside person just your own commitment… God bless and good luck…

But I have a hard time with what he is sharing when he says to me and anyone else- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is only for the Jews and as the Church we need to focus on Paul’s revealed writings. Do you have a Bible reading or study on the subject of the New Testament reinforcing the Old Testament?
As they were discussing the aspects of Christ and marriage, there were a couple of scriptures that came to mind. One is Matthew 23:12 “he that is greatest among you shall be servant of all.” The other is 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you”. Jesus‘s actions on this earth are the ultimate example of these two verses. He was the greatest among us, and yet he was the servant of all. And he humbled himself to die on the cross, and as a result of his humility, his name is exalted above every other name. And these two qualities are essential for us in marriage as well. We should serve each other and we should be humble when leading and submitting.

@ that may be your god, but it is not The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. It is not The God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ. But it is the god which started in Christianity in 325a.d., and was enforced by a Roman Emperor with the death penalty for anyone who would not worship it. And millions were laid to sleep until the resurrection because they refused to worship that false god. You should study the history to see if these things are so.

Jesus is fully God
@ Genesis 1:26, “ Let Us make man in our image, after our likeness” Hello my Friend! First of all, in this scripture there is no mention of how many “ Us” is speaking of. But we do know that after The Father said this, He created TWO beings, and Eve was taken out of Adam, which is a representation of The Son of God coming forth from His Father in Heaven. Two beings being created is the image, and Eve coming forth out of Adam is the likeness. Matthew 28:19, “ Baptizing them in The Name, of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, two things, first, Jesus said in vs. 18 that all power had been given to Him, in heaven, and on earth, power represents authority, all authority has been given to Him from His Father. And we know that Jesus is: THE FATHER of the redeemed race. THE SON of the living God. And He is THE HOLY SPIRIT OF TRUTH. So we baptize in THE NAME, singular, of Jesus Christ. This is evidenced in the book of Acts, as all baptisms were done in HIS NAME, JESUS! Matthew 28:19 is not a formula of words that need to be spoken at a baptism, it is whose authority we are baptized under. John 1:1-5 is speaking of only two beings, this is a paraphrase of it “ In The beginning of creation was The Son of God, and The Son of God was with The God, who is His Father, and The Son of God was also fully God, due to His Sonship from God, and The Son was in The beginning of creation with God. All things were made by His Father, but they were made by, and through, His Son. Without His Son there was nothing made, that was made. In Gods Son is His Fathers Life, for His Father gave Him Life, and His Life is the Light of men. And now that light shines in darkness, but those who deny that Light will remain in darkness, because they cannot comprehend it.”
The Son of God came forth from His Father, in Heaven, before anything was created. John 10:30, Jesus is assuring everyone that there is no difference between Him, and His Father in Heaven, who is unseen by finite men, they are One in Character, in Purpose, and in Mission, if we know Jesus Christ, then we know exactly what His Father is like, He is Love, He is Joy, He is Peace, He is Longsuffering, Gentle, Good, Faithful, Meek, Temperate, as Christ has shown us. Jesus did nothing on His Own, only what He hears from His Father, that is what He does. Collossians 2:9, “ In Gods Son dwells all the fullness of His Fathers divinity”. The word GODHEAD means divinity, or divine nature, it doesn’t speak to a number of beings. It pleased His Father that all His fullness of divinity would dwell in His Son, all things that Christ has, and all that He is, was given to Him by His Father, it is an inheritance. I praise God for our gift, that He wants us to be joint heirs with His Son, and partake of His divine nature. Every verse you mentioned, and the many more that you spoke of, Only confirm The Oneness of God, who is The Father of Jesus Christ, and of The Love that He has for His Only Born Son, and for us. Al, leave all bread out of your regular meals, I mean hamburger buns, hot dog buns, biscuits, cornbread, no donuts, and you will find that you really don’t want them., after a few months you can incorporate a few things but you’ll find it’s not really what you want … it’s amazing.. and you don’t need any outside person just your own commitment… God bless and good luck…
