Skeeter Mania most people hate the NSMB series because the games are unoriginal and I would agree if you look at them with the other games, but if every game was it’s own standalone game, NSMBU is my favorite, then NSMBW, then Mario world and 3, but all Mario games (even lost levels) are at worst fun, and at best amazing.

@@lannonbean7640, he needed to use the warp wistle only after realising that 7-Tower is not possible and it's unavoidable. However, the wistle is the best power-up in the entire game!
After defeating the final boss, you can start the game again and your inventory will be filled with P-Wings. That would have made this challenge much easier.

Hey I’ve played this game a lot since I was a kid and I know a lot of the “secrets” and stuff. For example on the second tower on world for u didn’t need the p wing. The block u were by that you couldn’t get passed is a p switch witch shows you a doorway but fun fact for that level u don’t need to see the door to use it so if u hit up on the dpad in a certain spot you could have saved the p wing.

What you're calling a "tanooki tail" is Racoon Mario. The Tanooki suit is a different power up in SMB3. It has similar abilities but also allows him to turn into a stone statue. When he's wearing the actual Tanooki Suit it looks like he's in a full costume similar to the Frog Suit. Also, it's kind of cheating jumping on those micro-Goombas in blocks...they're in blocks.
"Raccoon" here is just a (mis)localization of tanuki.
While you're right that the tail powerup and the tanuki suit are distinct, "tanuki tail" is a perfectly acceptable name for the tail powerup even if that's not its name in the original localization. (The Japanese version just calls it "Tail Mario".)
Also I agree the Microgoombas are cheating. Sure those blocks are technically sprites instead of tiles, but lore-wise they're still blocks.

All you need is 2 warp whistles. You can beat the first world then you can skip the first world selections on the warp whistle menu
I feel like you are missing a lot of things you can do with an "is it possible" run. These do not require you to get everything right in a single continuous run, as the question is only about possibilty. If you're unlucky or mess up, you're allowed to go back and try again.
Everyone forgets that.
