Agreed. Torn from the Heavens is getting into dangerously overplayed territory for me. Could've gone with Twilight Over Thanalan or Answers or Ultima or The Maker's Ruin or something (trying to keep it within Legacy / ARR).
But the thing is all of the other games pretty much have a FEW songs that get used (with some exceptions, 2 is pretty much always Rebel Army) but XIV being represented by something other than Torn from the Heavens is a miracle. I'd love to see the Ishgard theme instead, because it's a fantastic song and has more than enough relevance to the over all legacy of XIV at this point- right in the middle of everything
I'd say because it's one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I certainly wouldn't mind hearing some others (any of the songs that use the Heavensward leitmotif, such as Imagination or Ominous Prognosticks, would be great), but at least they don't use Answers all the time.
My top 3 from this is IX, VI and XI. That version of You Are Not Alone is one of the best things I've ever heard. VI makes me really nostalgic, and XI is extremely epic and reminds me of Promathia. On a side note, I liked how you put Vanille on the same spot as the villains in the other segments, lol. For XIV it should have been Minfilia as many would agree! And for XI poor Aphmau is a cinnamon roll, it should be Shantotto because she's a dick (also she's the best).
This has one of the most underrated versions of
One-Winged Angel
Yea
i love that for each song the characters switch and hop
Eternal Wind is my fave, followed by Zanarkand and Clash on the Big Bridge
I just absolutely love the transition between VII and VIII T_T It's so freaking good!
Memoro de la Ŝtono is what you're looking for on XI
Ta
FFVIII Man With The Machine Gun
FFIII Memory of the Wind
FFVI Searching for Friends
Beautiful
The best version of "Not Alone".
Which version of Battle with the Four Fiends is this? I can't find it anywhere with the chorus!
Are you going to be splitting each of these up as their own video?
Man why's XIV's song always gotta be Torn from the Heavens. It's great but REALLY....

It's not like every single one of these songs aren't overused... (aside from VI's) It's supposed to be a recognizable medley

Well then, what music do you suggest? Come on, anyone.

Look up the Tour de Japon version of You are Not Alone. I think you'd like it :)
I really love the soundtracks made for the Final Fantasy Series. And I think FFXV is Advent of the Apocalypse not Apocalypsis Noctis.
FFIX :3
What about Tactics and Type-0?
FFT, the real Final Fantasy VIII
IX XV and V
