You can purchase the ticket on line , use bank card or Oyster travel card in the pier station itself . Hop on hop off is the best way to explore landmarks and tourists destination with in the city avoiding traffic . River Thames is one of the longest river in England .Cruising in the river is brilliant. It is an accessible and easy way to reach places of interests if you hate traffic .Wonderful view of architectural buildings long the River banks . Highly recommended if you visit London.

My wife and I shall be visiting London in August, having had a wonderful trip there last year .. out first time in 20+ years.
During this visit we want to take a trip on River Thames .. but it's hard to know which one is best .. there seem to be cruises and 'water buses' for want of a better term. Which do you think is the best value ?
