I’ve recently gotten into TD1 Speedrunning and this was my first pretty good run I’ve actually recorded. I could do so much better, but I’ve gotta start somewhere and it'll be nice to look back on this. Anyway, thanks to CanTian366 for being a huge inspiration. I pretty much used his 4k Striker commanding build 1:1 with a few minor tweaks to suit my liking.
Also, I’m commendation/achievement hunting and I need some dedicated players to squad up with me so I can get:
“z3#A $85tErESc 23slomiNS610” (the secret mission)
“Flawless UG” and “Tier One”

Very very impressive. Also very jealous of the Riot Shirt 😭 Haven't gotten to do Heroic Clear Sky to try for it yet.
Clear sky is def the easiest incursion to do solo. You just need classifed nomad. Get that and you can just brute force it. If you're having trouble getting nomad id recommend farming resistance caches. I wont give you a full break down cause there's plenty of tutorials out there, but that's the best way to get classified and exotic gear. Or if you're on PC id be ok with just carrying you through it.
@@Phickic Nomad's actually the only gear set I have a full classified set of. Everything else I'm missing a few bits and pieces including my striker build, where the backpack and gloves have eluded me. Yeah I've been farming solo Pier 92 for classy pieces. RNGesus just refuses to give me the stuff I want. And I am on PC! Usernames the same as my YT one, just without the 151. I'd love to run through it for the rest of the riot vanity set at some point if you're down for that. Ty so much for the offer!

man........... this just dropped a ton of very nice memories from this game.... i remember the hype on TD2 and as i knew the character animation team was a different one i remeber thinking "damn.... i just hope the new guy can nail the character animation and weight feel... and boy.... this was really a total deception for me..... now looking at these old clips from TD1 I'm really wanting to re-install it and run it again, and again, and again.... this was 100000000% lightyears away better than TD2

Btw, my favorite build was the Classified Lonestar with double Big Alexandro's..... MEEEEEEEEEELT!!!

@@3ddudde yeah, I much prefer the first game. It's something I can always come back to pick up where I left off. As per the Lonestar build, I think double mg5 is way better for a it. The mg5 has way higher burst, way better acuarcy, and doesn't require the use of cover to use all the talents. Moreover Lonestar can circumvent the problems of investing only in burst, so if you just run the magazine attachment with fire rate it's way more dps than double big Alejandro's even if the stat in your inventory says otherwise.
@@Phickic i actaully have 2 very good mg5's too, i sometimes run it too but the stupiddly fast rof on the bigal's makes it very fun :)

You done it in 8:10. Time is counting at the gate passing and mission is completed in first 100th of second when u gain exp from killing last NPC

What u play on and is that build purely damage?
I'm on PC and no, the build is actually pretty even stat wise. This is purely to get the commanding trait on the guns however. In the description I've linked to can tian 336 and in the description of his videos you can find imugur break downs of the build. To summarize it tho, it's 5k firearms, 4k stamina, 4k electronics then all your gear mods are purple to stack damage to elites and the guns all have commanding and determined to ensure that the tac link can be up as much as possible.

Yes and yes. You'd be surprised how many people you run into in the DZ and at the Base of Operations.

@@Phickic I guess you weren't there during the heyday of the game. it was a semi auto rifle that had the best DPS.
some kind of advanced Garand rifle basically, but it was the best thing to have for the first 18 months of the game.
@@matteparent2468 no, I very much was there, but that thing is best in dps purely on paper as the DPS numbers assume perfect accuracy, which means they don't really represent a weapon very well. This is why all the marksman rifles have such huge dps, but in reality are left in the dust by assault rifles and the house. The marksman rifles can be fired very quickly but can't actually hit anything when doing so as the bloom and recoil are tremendous, meaning they only come close to matching their supposed DPS stat by face trading, in which case you were better off with the house (or mp7 at launch) Ie, they've never been meta. Maybe in a pve sentry build it was good, but the paratrooper SVD was better for deadeye and the m44 or m700 carbon was better for single shot like hunters faith or as a long range backup. The lightweight m4/lvoac are the best guns in the game and pretty much have been since day one. The m4 was even more meta at launch cause it had even higher pershot damage. there were times were specific per patch things outclassed it like the mp7 or what have you, but it's been the m4 through and through.
