Fresh Fruit Tart | Easy Tart Recipe | Beat Batter Bake With Priyanka

    Recipe (tart shell)
    -100 g (5 tbsp) plain flour
    - 50 g (2 1/2 tbsp) cold butter (diced)
    -2 tbsp sugar
    -1 pinch of salt
    -1 tbsp chilled cold milk
    Method:
    1) process(or crumble with hands) the first four ingredients.
    2) mix in the milk.
    3) Roll out on a floured surface and cut out with cookie cutters.
    4) place them into pastry tins (if you don't have a pastry tine, put the dough into a cupcake tin without the cupcake cases)
    and poke holes with a fork.
    5) Bake until golden at 180c/356f/Gas Mark 4.
    6) I took them out and put in strawberry jam for glue to stick down small fruits.
    that is how you make my own/her version of fresh fruit tarts! :D :-)

    Guys don't focus on plastic you can use some other solution but see how well she gave us eggless tart shell and cream cheese frosting receipe. If you have daring to present then show your skills don't post rubbish posts please.. Ma'am I really appreciate your skill for eggless fruit tart.

    Hi Priyanka, how lovely! May I just ask why you used cling film in the oven? Isn't it safer to use foil? Plastic BPA etc.. in the oven?

      The cling film allows you to push right into all the corners/edges so you end up with a more perfect tart shell. It's perfectly safe provided you use a special oven-proof cling film :)

    I am very fond of baking.. and I have a question regarding electronic beater..
    can you please tell how important is it you have an electronic beater for baking and what other purpose it serves in regular household... and is the electronic beater with 150 watts enough for the use???

    Hi, I am trying to master the tart shell according to the specific measurement. I am facing two problems. First problem is that the shell becomes thick and shrinks quiet a lot in the case, so the wall is not that high. Secondly it is not that soft or khasta, it becomes hard. I am using regular maida, White unsalted butter, regular powderdd sugar. Am I doing something wrong the heat in the oven? Pls help.

    tried this recipe of tart dough doesn't work properly i did with hand not food processor that butter you took looks much more than 50 gms....i used this recipe for one nine inch tart & still it wasn't enough i had to roll it very thin to make it

    1 cup sugar makes it too sweet i recommend 1/2cup a few table spoons extra if you like!!

    Please don't put plastic wrap in your oven as it will burn and it will melt. Please don't use plastic wrap as it is very unsafe.
