Michelle Castles watching your video makes me want to come spend some time with you in your Studio as an apprentice, or an intern. I absolutely love your work, and your story, and would love to learn as much as I possibly could from you! Bravo! You killed it!
Hi Capsulend, thanks for your comment. We'll try and get in touch with Michelle to find out for you but you may have to wait a short while. I'm sure Michelle told us that she acquired the tree stump locally, then made the holes to suit her needs as gained by experience. hope that offer a bit of help for you. Cheers
Hi Cherrill, we're not in touch with Michelle at the moment but our guess is that it's a sculpture's "T" shaped mallet, perhaps a Lignum vitae wood Bossing Mallet. Hope that helps you. Thanks for asking, cheers.
Hi Dr Vic, we're not sure what type of mesh Michelle is using, perhaps she goes into more detail in her own website. Sorry to talk so long in replying, kind regards Dave.
Hi Dale, thanks for stopping by. We're sure that Michelle is using 1/4" weld mesh for her small marquettes. Her large sculptures will need a bigger mesh. Hope that helps you, cheers
