Goodbye SOPHIE. You were one of a kind. Your music always provided me happiness and solace within my own difficult mental state. Wish I could have discovered you sooner and experienced your magic in person. Your music will live on forever in my heart, in all of our hearts.
Giving this another listen, after not hearing it in a long time, the ending of this song is very dramatic and cinematic. I really enjoy its soft but yet, such harsh vibrations the ending of this one, track has. Very brilliant and effortless. Thank you Sophie, all of her dear ones, and all the creative beings of the world. Thank you for your gifts. Thank you for inspiring me to be and live my own truth as a queer artistic being! Thank you for supporting your dear friend, who really wanted to share her best artistic self. Sophie. Thank you. Forever and Always.
dude i had a manic episode triggered by starting SSRIs and i listened to this and it was the strangest experience ever. sounds never sounded so sharp and exciting before.
Those synths are so beautiful and the percs that come in at 1:08 how they pan left to right. Amazing, brilliant inspiring sound design. Thank you so much SOPHIE for simply existing.

No. You somehow squeeze through the anus-wombmouth hole in the center and enter the white shadow vaccum. The blue erect tube part on the side shoots canons during the Revolutionary War.
Someone mentioned u on twitter and I was like wow, it’s been a while since I listened and I haven’t heard all the songs. I’ve listened all day and this is the one I’ve played the most. Thank you for all that u did, you are missed💚🌈
I think I first started listening to Sophie when I was a freshman or sophomore in high school so about 6 or 7 years ago. I first heard of her from Mitch Grassi, from Pentatonix. So I looked her up and Lemonade was the first song I listened too. Elle, Hard, and Bipp became my favorites. When I found out about Sophie's passing, it broke my heart. I'm a very emotional person so hearing about anyone's death makes me hurt because I know that people closer to them are hurting. I hope and pray for the best and for happiness for Sophie's family and friends. Sophie left behind a legacy of great music, and music is so.ething that brings people together. I hope that more people will be brought together by her music.
I found Sophie's music the day I also read of her death in the newspaper. I don't know how I missed such a talented musician, and my heart and love goes out to her family and friends. Her music resonates with the realities I've discovered in life. ❤️❤️
it starts at 2:32 but yeah, beautiful. From a producers perspective strange decision to loop it like 5 times in a row but the part is so beautiful that it works.
Im going to state this, Sophie music is not everyone taste, However as a sound artist myself I am really impressed with all the instrument she created to get a sound out of a synths or drums. She an experimental artist so like mr oizo or fedz. It not alway perfect but however she showed us an interesting way to morph or create a weird sounding synth. My favourite songs of her is Elle, Lemonade, msmsmsm. She should be respected as an artist and as a person as we are all human all along. Stay safe and respect everyone. It does sound like going down in a whirlpool slide and splashing into the water. very clever!

@@doggodoggo3000 Haha, thank you, Yes i am partially deaf and was inspired by her creativity and others artist. We don't really have that in uk but we have horse racing.
@@FeistyFennekin nah bro you misunderstand. Greyhound racing is very much a thing in the UK thats why I said it. Its almost dead in America. But it is alive and well in the UK. In the UK About 400 greyhounds died in 2020 and about 200 of those were during races. 700 in 2019 and about 1000 died in 2018. There have been fewer raced due to covid so the numbers are lower, but the rate of deaths per race is actually higher. There are people trying to get it banned there, thats why im even bothering to tell you. This is very very real.
I think llamapie24 is right - the hole is vertical-face not like a hole in the bottom of a bowl, so you'd slide around and out of it horizontally and land on your feet like a normal simple slide, not drop out of a hole vertically.
+Dynamic Ferret It's an artistic comment on consumerism. It is a simplistic pop culture symbol of money buying happiness. Goes nicely with the ironic take on mainstream music.
Listening to this fried is making me uncomfortable in the best way possible. It pushes the boundaries of music and will be a inspiration to many hyperpop artists to come. You will be missed out forever 🤎🤎

yea
My heart is broken. Your music and inspiring legacy will live on through the generations and I take some comfort in that during this hard time.
i feel like the beat matches the slide so well, i can imagine sliding down it and falling down the center everytime i hear the intro
I need this song to play in a water park for this slide

fuck sorry to hear that:(

Panning isn't sound design and the "synths" are a sine pad and saw lead. You would be able to make that in an hour of learning synthesis

This song slapped me so hard that I woke up ethereally reborn and unscathed
That panning at 1:10 with the clicks is raw...
i love the crisp high frequencies
imagine listening on vinyl, I want it so bad
i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of that slide.
You come out of the tube, go around the bowl and fall through the hole in the middle. Works best as a waterslide. It's fun, would recommend.
You ever seen a toilet flush? It's like that.
ive been on one at six flags. theyre really fun.

*BEST SONG BEST SLIDE*
I think this is what I will hear when I go to heaven
agreed
Same
The hole in the slide is facing the wrong way and I can't handle it
Edit: Rest well :(
I don't think it is? You go around the bowl once and then come back around to go through the hole
I like how we'rd talking about the slide.
5 months later and I still think it doesn't look right, it looks like it's facing sideways
cjlewis you're right, it is wrong. You can tell by the shadowing
