watching the machining reminded me of something i like to say: it is almost always easier to use the tools you got than the tools you wish you got.....
I think I'd have used a multi carbide insert on that cutter. If you dial them in so they are all perfectly aligned, they do the best on hard surfaces. I will be waiting for the reassembly!
Yep glad to see you put a video out. Like seeing you and your dad's videos. I know you must be working on your own jobs or stuff. Love to see some of your projects. Thanks and stay at it!
Hi Tyler, nice to see you put out a video it's been a while. You guys are certainly lucky to have access to an ol'skool machine shop! Any progress on your bus build? Cheers Drew
Cast iron flywheels are difficult to surface. Hotspots result in extremely hard surfaces as you found. You would have been better to find a suitable machine shop with a proper flywheel grinder. But I understand that may not have been readily available in your area.
That clutch was moments away from shattering 😮

Wow. He must have thought it was a fluid drive . Until it didn't.
That’s probably the first time that’s ever been changed, since it was new ….
Might as well do a V730 swap on it.
