For us AC Techs with old gauges and hoses laying around. If we planned ahead and have full tanks in our vehicles, we can easily access some gas for our generators.
If you are not an AC guy and need a hose, anything like this will work. It is 1/4" hose flare fitting woth a valve stem depressor and a ball valve. a.co/d/040tMc3Z

I’m glad I saw it i would have thought about doing that. As long as people practice safety and common sense I don’t see anything wrong with doing it. But as you stated don’t ever use the hose on a HVACR system afterwards was enough.
How did you fair from Beryl brother??
@czechmate6916 still have no power, just a small generator that I can run most of my 110v and a 5000 btu window unit, which is not enough. But we're ok
