if you actually pay attention what happened to Flores was similar what happened to Caldwell both were bad at first then started playing good later on in the season it makes you think how some owners wanna tank on purpose and use a black coach with it.
I’m Mexican and it’s forsure evident that there needs to be more black representation in leadership positions from GMs to Head Coaches to even owners the league is majority black make the number makes sense period .
Why? Do you hire the best person for the job? Why not any Mexicans hired as coach? Why no push for Asians/Polynesians? Everyone should have the same opportunity, but why give him the job, he’s developed no one, hasn’t had a good defense, has one of the best corner tandems and did nothing etc.
But you can have a token GM lets just say it. This was shoved under the rug for decades cause every team like every corporation knows how to get around things like the Rooney rule. The NFL should institute a lottery system like the NBA, to prevent teams from intentionally tanking in order to get the 1st pick of the draft. If they have to enter a lottery with all non-playoff teams, then teams would be less likely to tank because they will not be guaranteed the number 1 pick if they have the worst record.
They could, but because of that it helps with the parity in the NFL. Every team has the chance to go from worst to first or at least relevant (cardinals, bengals, etc) if they draft well. Getting top picks from being bad helps them bad teams improve. Basketball has the lottery which is nice but teams stay bad forever because the quality of draft picks dips so much after the first three picks (usually, not always).
We have an allegation of the owner actively looking to tank. It leads me to believe Ross wants a reason to let go of Flores and he possibly already had his replacement in mind but he just needed the grace period. Basically pre David Culley even tho that literally just happened
Chris and Rob On Josh McDaniels, I am not a fan and I do not think he should have been given another chance as HC. I am true believer in 2nd chances for anyone...this really for me burned his 2nd chance with the Colts. I feel it is a little weak to act with outage on the Broncos experience now. I do 100% percent agree with lawsuit, you need this to be judgement by the courts vs a well meaning laws. affiliations Rooney rules or any affirmative action laws contradict these other laws. Good for him. Hopefully this brings about some serious changes but unfortunately I think the NFL and owners are going to close ranks and fight this as much as possible. This is probably the end of Flores’ career either way but hopefully it brings some changes
Bottom line is.. when you are a winner, you get the job. Flores was a loser, his decision to continually bench Tua for Fitzpatrick, stunted his QB’s development. His decision to have two offensive coordinators stunted his QB’s development. His inability to be a good coach, to make the playoffs, to put his team in a position to win, the regression of his defense… cost him his job. Not his skin tone. This entire argument about 70% of players being black is irrelevant. Good players almost never make good coaches. Can you name one besides Vrable? One? You cannot because the skill sets of players and coaches are not interchangeable. The best coaches in the NFL virtually never come from the ranks of top NFL players. Equity does not cancel out ability or qualifications. If we ignored performance and based everything on racial equity as regards to population demographics, there would be a lot fewer black players making millions of dollars. Where’s the white RB’s? Where’s the Asian TE’s? Where’s the Hispanic WR’s? Where’s the Persian LB’s? Where’s all the women CB’s? Y’all act as if Flores earned anything other than side eye from the Dolphins AND the rest of the league. He doesn’t. He virtually single handedly failed one of the best rosters in the AFC. There is a stigma that whites believed that black men are the inferior mind, if you watched the movie “django” when Leonardo bought out that hammer at the dinner scene, he wondered how could a black person have an opportunity to slice his oppressor throat but didn’t due to his inferior mind. I will make it short, when we talk about the greatest player at every position it goes to a black person. Best wr(black), running back(black), cb(black) safety(black), dline(black). When it comes to name the greatest qb (Brady, Manning, Montana, Rodgers, and John Elway) this positions is considered only for the intellectual and everyone I mentioned for the qb is white. When it comes to coaching, there a ton of black assistants spots, but when it comes to head coaching there is only one black head coach, again a head coach is considered and intellectual job and like I said, some whites don’t believe blacks have the mind for the job.

(Brady, Manning, Marino, Rodgers, Elway, Favre, Montana, Bress, Staubach, Unitas). Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham had to go through trials and tribulations in order to have a shot, even though there are civil rights which was passed in order to prevent this from happening. I can’t speak on kickers and punters, but I do remember the black punter for the raiders Marquette King and he averaged 47 yards per punt. However, he was cut by John Gruden who is a racist and sexists. One last example, QB Justin Fields for the Chicago Bears was sabotaged by his own coach, the head coach admitted he didn’t prepare properly for Justin. I mean he wanted to start Andy Dalton, even though Dalton hasn’t won anything in a long time. Justin Fields based on merit was the best qb, but surprisingly the white head coach went with the white qb.

Ehh idk about that. They had a good year and then a few disappointing ones after that. The year he was fired they were a big disappointment. Almost like a John Fox or Marvin Lewis situation. They hired a new GM who wanted to bring in his own guy. Happens all the time. Caldwell was a good coach though
I'm not an American... but the lack of black coaching looks to be a microcosm of the race issues in America. And quite honestly, over here in Australia as well. It's not outright racism. It's just how the system works. The rich and powerful owners are predominantly white. They hire GM's who are white. They populate their back office with predominantly white people. It starts making a lot of sense that black coaches aren't chosen when your interactions and experiences are all so dominated by white people as the status quo. Happy to give Kliff Kingsbury or Nick Siriani a chance without many qualifications. Now they're talking about Josh Mcown to the Texans? What the hell? But why not give a black man a chance with better qualifications? Maybe it's because the white GM feels like they are more comfortable with white coaches The output is clear. It's systemic racism. It's not actively racist. But it has a racist outcome. Maybe the place to start is to start demanding GM's and decision makers for hiring goes through committees who have black representation. Happens till there's at least 50% black GM's.
Labels. Tom Brady ...yells at coaches, slams a ipad=passionate. ....competitive/hates to lose Terrell Owens.....yells at coaches on sideline = team disrupter ....selfish
Starting QB yelling at everyone because the team’s not playing well vs selfish receiver yelling to get more targets? Yeah, there’s a difference. Here’s the other thing. Brady’s teammates know that he’ll defend them when he gets on the podium after the game. Owens was trying to replace Jeff Garcia with Tim Rattay to get himself more targets.
The whole Rooney Rule thing doesn't make sense to me. I understand the problem but forcing teams to interview blacks for every opening isn't the answer, IMO.

The interesting news about this is everyone know it's true... there was a outrage about Brian Flores getting fired!
Well guys, burn away🤔🤔🤔
The firing of Flores is more fucked up than what the giants did. John Gruden and Urban Myer were considered difficult to work with and would’ve kept their jobs if real dirt hadn’t come out on them. So the reasoning behind firing Brian Flores because he was difficult to work with makes no sense especially since his players play hard for him, chose trying to win football games over a paycheck, and didn’t have no real dirt come out about him. Whether you believe it’s race related or not it don’t add up.
The reason they said he was difficult was because he wouldn't play their games and lose if anything Miami fans should be livid over these allegations
Jim Harbaugh was fired because they said he was hard to work with. Stop it please. In three years he didnt make the playoffs. Lost 7 straight to start the year. If something is so racist you sure support it.

The Rooney Rule does NOT require that a black person be interviewed. It requires that a minority be interviewed. People need to be precise with their words and not sloppy.
And ur point?
That's all you got
I don't think that's the point comply with with the eule. Yet don't interview me for 9 hrs and bring me back to put up an appearance. Interview me for 20 mins then sign who you want. Jeff McDaniels gets job after job. The Lions fired Caldwell and and have been close to be even close to winning. Look at what happened in Texas. They aren't getting looks is the problem. Most are set up to fail. What owner wants to give you money to loose so they can fire you.
Coach Flores will be rewarded for his courage. Not only will he get another head coaching job, he will change NFL hiring practices.
If Flores doesn't get another NFL gig they will basically prove his case.
His next Head Coaching gig will Fire him after 1 season, unfortunately. He’s now a Target!!! Unfortunately

Yea, he probably would’ve gotten one had he not ducking sued the league he’s trying to work for
The NFL black balled Kaepernick and nothing happened
if you actually pay attention what happened to Flores was similar what happened to Caldwell both were bad at first then started playing good later on in the season it makes you think how some owners wanna tank on purpose and use a black coach with it.
Word I want to tank so let mehire a black coach and when the team continues to lose you get fired
Bingo
I’m Mexican and it’s forsure evident that there needs to be more black representation in leadership positions from GMs to Head Coaches to even owners the league is majority black make the number makes sense period .
Why? Do you hire the best person for the job? Why not any Mexicans hired as coach?
Why no push for Asians/Polynesians?
Everyone should have the same opportunity, but why give him the job, he’s developed no one, hasn’t had a good defense, has one of the best corner tandems and did nothing etc.
Tony Dungy was right. Tanking and NFL sports betting do not go hand in hand. This scandal is catastrophic.
I don’t see how the shield can fully recover from this , May have some servere consequences

Now you see why the NFL set up Gruden to take a fall. These genius owners could see these discrimination lawsuits coming.

I always look forward to your guys’ clips, love the show🙌🏼
But you can have a token GM lets just say it. This was shoved under the rug for decades cause every team like every corporation knows how to get around things like the Rooney rule. So Flores will probably be the next Kap, but the only way change will happen is if the fans demand change by leaving their money in their pockets.
Its easier than that.
Black players won't play for a white coach if they think he stole a job from a black man.
I am worried about my Giants....
Not only in sports in the military as well. I mean Colin Powell, now SECDEF Austin, Gen Brown( CSAF) finally get the job that other black and brown folks should have gotten years ago. Hell, Colin Powell was the 1st non academy officer appointed as Chairman JCS. Before him we weren't even considered, didn't matter if black and brown officers were academy alumns. NFL, you're days are numbered don't be surprised if 85+% of your players stand in solidarity with black coaches
Colin Powell sucked. Weapons of mass destruction? There were none. He helped get us into endless Middle East wars. Lloyd austin is a damn joke. Affirmative action hire all the way. Look at afghanistan. He couldn't even execute a proper withdrawal.
He’s was a bi racial man not black
Weve already seen that players refuse to stand up for black coaches due to their financial incentive not to make noise.
They do it in the NBA as well. That's how the 76ers got Ben Simmons.
Tanking is part of football. I don't understand why people care.

I do 100% percent agree with lawsuit, you need this to be judgement by the courts vs a well meaning laws. affiliations Rooney rules or any affirmative action laws contradict these other laws. I think a judgement is really the only place you can go, once a judgement is in place it is more concrete Rooney rules or affirmative action laws. Just my opinion.

It's a mess in the nfl with this with black coaches.

@@jsphblw offensive line can be argued about who is some of the greatest (Johnathan Ogden, Orlando Pace, Larry Allen, Will Shields) that position is considered inclusive or diversity.
Maybe it's because the white GM feels like they are more comfortable with white coaches
The output is clear. It's systemic racism.
It's not actively racist. But it has a racist outcome.
Maybe the place to start is to start demanding GM's and decision makers for hiring goes through committees who have black representation.
Happens till there's at least 50% black GM's.
