Wonderful prints! I love how you accidentally did an image transfer with the map!!
Thanks so much Monica, yes the map transfer was a surprise, I am going to play with that some more! 💗😊
More lovely prints. Can't wait to see how you use them.
Thanks so much Lisa! 🥰😊🥰
I see the bee journal getting closer.....
The maps and dictionary pages were incredible ❤
Thanks Toni - you can see why I nearly ran off with the France map now, LOL! One day, bee journal, one day... 🐝💜💗
Gorgeous gel prints Kari, can’t wait for next week to see how you use some of them. Xx
Thanks so much Carol, they will come in very handy! 💗😊
I love all your "happy sounds" xx Super prints my love... Hurray for The Cheap Shop ... thank you for sharing with us ... hugs x
Thanks so much Paulla - gel printing is such a happy activity and yes, these cheap shops are excellent for this sort of thing, sometimes! Hugs to you too! 💗😊💗
the pound shop is the perfect place for textures, also the random junk drawers often have surprises in them 😀
I know, I find so many "art tools" in there, LOL!
its a treasure trove of stuff and occasionally lost money!
Oh i wish I have a cool pound shop where i live 😅 but i guess we could use just anything we can find around the house, in the bin, in the kitchen even bathroom. Lovely gorgeous prints! You are really getting so professional now Kari. And i love the honeycomb ❤
There are several pound shops around here, they don't always have good stuff, but if they do, it is quite economical. Yes, there are lots of things around the house - and bin. I have been known to take things out of other people's bins at times, too! 💗💗
My fav is the last one! But I like the yellow with streak of orange down side too! Can't wait to see next week's video, Kari! Xo-Julie
Thanks so much Julie, yes I liked that one too, I am going to have fun with these papers! 💗
I love them all. My favorite is the tree ring (placemat)with the aqua and buff combination. And i didn't think that one looked like a fail.😀
Thank you very much Tina, I am so glad you liked that one! 💗
Always lovely to watch you gelliprint Kari! Beautiful prints! 💖
Thank you so much, Yolande, gel printing has fast become my addiction! 💗💗
Splodge is a word we don’t use here in Canada but it is perfect and I am adopting it, if you don’t mind! Love all your papers!💕💕💕
Oh thank you, I had no idea the word isn't universal, heheh, yes, use it by all means! 😅🥰
Thanks so much! These prints are lovely!
Glad you like them - thank you! 💗
These are very fun! My fave is the first tree one and I hope to see the Glasgow-in-a-hive in something cool too!
Thanks Jane, yes, I liked that first tree one and the bee journal is still in the "collecting bits" stage (it might still be some time)! 💗
@@KariGibsonArt Went to see the Anne Desmet exhibition yesterday - some wonderful block prints on a tiny, tiny scale - some great ideas as well like using shells and slate to put prints onto!
@@purplejanew Oh, that sounds good, I need a day in London to do some galleries and will include her exhibition as well - thanks for letting me know about it, Jane! 💗💗
I got a large atlas at my local library bookstore for one U.S. dollar! The paper is amazing.
Oooh, I love a large map page, that sounds like a bargain, Susan, you will have fun using it, I know! Thanks so much! 💗
Gelli printing is one of my new favorite things. I just started about a week ago. I have the 5x7 plate right now, but I’ll definitely be adding to my collection as time goes on. Some smaller, some bigger, and additional brayers. I have one and it works fine but it’s already come apart and I don’t think it should have.
I am so glad you are gel printing too - it is such fun! Yes, I started with one plate and I think I now have 5 - all varying in size. Similarly, I have several brayers too. I tend to watch for sales and buy at that time, I managed to get a bargain with the 12"x12" plate around Christmas time, which was great, because the large plates are so expensive! 💗💗
The honeycomb tiles are maybe my favourite for pattern, although they are all great!
Mine too, Becca, it worked out well - thanks for watching! 💗💗
@@KariGibsonArt My pleasure.
Great prints, love them.🥰😊
Thanks so much Margaret 💗😊💗
Well you are inspiring me to get my gel plate out... But I just don't seem to have the time at the moment 🙄
Love the first one, I do enjoy pink and brown and that hexagonal tile is so good.. oh and the circular mat... Fab finds 😁♥️
Thank you very much Elaine, oh yes, when you have time, get the plate out and create some lovely papers to collage with! I love that hexagonal tile and the mat - Poundland for the win, LOL! 💗
Hello where did the lovely tree stencil come from. Thank you for sharing. I love gel printing but get a bit confused whey layering. You have helped in this video.
Thank you very much, the tree stencil is available in my Etsy shop, the link is in the description of my video. I am glad you found the video helpful and I hope that you will enjoy layering with your gel printing now! 💗
Where did you find such a gigantic dictionary? Love those big pages.
The giant dictionary was a charity shop find, quite often they don't sell and end up being thrown away, so I was delighted to get it to use for this!
Thank youu!😊
You're welcome and thank YOU! 🥰 😊
How is that Chartreuse Green? 🤔 I can’t find an Amsterdam paint by that name, but maybe it’s their Yellowish Green. 😊
Oh yes, it is!
