You are SET mama! You have so many amazing resources for having just started
YASSS more homeschooling videos please!! ❤
Make a Shutterfly book of all of the art! Great way to remember and appreciate the work your kids have done! :) I make a yearly book for our family every year! :)
Wow what a fabulous idea!!!
Hi Kayla, I’m soon to begin homeschooling my kindergartener in Florida. When it comes to the end of the year assessment, does Riley have to take a test in a physical school or do they just look over her work for the year? Please keep us updated as you go through that process. Thanks!
I know one thing for sure that my kids will love to sit down and play / learn with ur kids . I get a lot of ideas from you and your toys !!
I love your homeschool vids
This is my favorite type of video! ❤ added the tissue paper squares to my wishlist for my kiddos, thanks for all the ideas!!
You can put kids’ works in a file and then put them in that box. Presentation book-type files would work. You can also put the date at the back of each piece of work and file them chronologically. Other works which do not fit in the file can be in the same box next to the paperwork file.
when Jackson is ready u can make up cards for him- write the numbers 1-10 on a card each and then the words 1-10 and have him match them up. You can have them do that with days of the week, months of the year, etc....putting them in order.............
Oohhh I’m stealing this! Love the idea
Kayla you’re so inspiring to watch I have a 2yr old son who I can’t wait to be able to prep him up for schooling. I’ll definitely be checking out your Amazon storefront for inspiration. However wanted to know if you don’t have a near by library how do you manage your children books so they don’t get overwhelmingly all over your house? Do you store them like a toy rotation or something?? Please do a video I like to know and did you kept all your older kids board books for Shawn or is he starting his own collection???
I’m a chatty bird, just need advice since I love watching your channel especially for toy rotation and school learning
For the contruction paper, you should get colored folders that match the construction paper. That way the colors should hopefully stayed more organized
u can borrow all kinds of various reading level books at your library for extra reading practice!!!!!
If you have room maybe add a second cabinet or an open book case next to the cabinet. I had 3 kids, the books and craft supplies took over the play room. I really love your content. I have grandkids now and so many of your tips & tricks work well to keep them entertained.
A little game u can make up for Riley for now is.....using various pieces of paper or construction paper, write out sentences that u know she would be able to read on a piece of the paper for each word, then mix them up and have arrange the words in order to make the sentence. I am a retired teacher! Then she can read aloud the sentence she put in order to make sure it sounds right!
ooof I need to organize our cabinet/table soon! March was super hectic for us so it just looks like chaos😅. I love when you share the learning activities! Do you use a daily lesson planner ?
Happy friday
Happy Friday friends! 🎉❤
I'm looking forward to what level curriculum you are choosing next for your children! My son is the same age as Jackson, only 1month difference. Love these videos, always so many ideas for littles! Your organisation looks so satisfying! 💜
another game u can make, when she is old enough is writing on cards homonyms and have her pair them up- like our/hour/blue blew, etc......u can do that also for opposites...
Hi Kayla! Interested to know your thoughts on Good and the Beautiful. Of course I've seen some negative reviews regarding the mormon author. As a Catholic mom, curious to know how you have been liking it. From the sample pages and reviews I've seen it looks really nice and thorough for when we go to homeschool my kids next year!
Hi!!! I’ve loved the course. The author is Mormon, but I haven’t ever encountered any Mormon theology in the course. The very few times anything about God is mentioned, it’s in a very non specific way. For example - a picture study of a field of flowers, and then text that says “God made the flowers” - very basic simple things like that from my experience with the course. That’s why I always supplement when it comes to teaching the faith because at least this far, I haven’t even encountered Bible references, and then obviously nothing Catholic specific in this course. But Riley’s done really well with the curriculum for math and language arts and science and I’ve enjoyed using it as a teacher. Hope this helps a bit!
@@KaylaBuell okay perfect! I was hoping it wasn't too faith based because I wanted to kind of have that as a separate learning experience so we can just focus on just the core subjects. I appreciate it! 😊
Where is your cabinet from?
Love your homeschool cabinet. Where did you get it?!
Thanks! I linked it in the description box!
There’s no link connected to it
@@KaylaBuell oh yea, it’s blank. It didn’t copy.
Where did you get home school shelf?
Where do you find all your books?
u can also have Jackson put the numbers in words in order...
How to store certificates of children?
A notebook with sheet protectors. I found was best. One for each child
