Its funny to watch the audience reactions. Some are clearly into the music, even if it is more rock than country. Others are not sure what they hell they are watching...as if its not like the music in Nashville today. As someone who grew up with rock until the age of about 16 then got exposed to country and roots styles like blues, jazz and fell in love with all of it its hilarious to see all these styles coming together now. I can remember when many of the bands I liked like the "country rockers" like the Flying Burrito Brothers, Poco, the Amazing Rhythm Aces, Little Feat, often had no real places on the radio except maybe college radio, public radio...NOT country. This was just fun....
Thes are all great performances but sometimes the person controlling the mics is really slow in turning them up when a new singer starts singing. But, awesome musicians, singers, performers!
