Ok on a serious note, this song is a MASTERPIECE and I very so badly want to hear Yoongi perform it live :’) I would die happily
This cover was very challenging for me (as I don’t consider myself a rapper), but I had a lot of fun with it! Screaming DAECHWITA over and over probably annoyed my family members and my vocal chords but it was a good time. I really hope you guys like it or at least appreciate my efforts!

Here’s some explanation for some of the lyrics I used because I KNOW someone will comment “those aren’t the real lyrics.” When re-writing lyrics from another language it’s impossible to keep the direct translation completely because of words having different syllable counts and flows. Regardless, I always try my best to keep the meaning very close to the same meaning as the original! Here are a few lines I would like to explain for those of you who are curious:
“대취타” = Daechwita - Of course I had to keep Daechwita in the lyrics because it’s the title of the song! For those of you wondering, As explained by DKDKTV, Daechwita was traditional marching music that was played for royalty whenever they went out and about. Pretty much to bring awareness to everyone.
“Energy got that Gwanghae flow” - a reference to Gwanhaegun who was a reckless king in the Joseon Dynasty. Basically with this line I am meaning that King Agust D has the similar energy, life, and recklessness as this king.
“Flexing, I got none, all I need is my tongue” - This isn’t exactly what Yoongi says, but it’s more of an inside joke and connection to “Agust D.” Yoongi doesn’t need big muscles to flex on you, he has his tongue technology skills.
“I don’t bite but I’ll kkak twe-“ - From my understanding the term “kkak twe” is like someone spitting. RM also says this term in “Intro: Persona” from the Map of the soul: Persona Album.
