Entering an Address into 2017 Acura RLX Navigation

- Tutorial and helpful tips on paring your using the Address function on Acura's navigation system. This tutorial is based on a 2017 model Acura's but some of the basics will carry over to older generations of Acura's as well. There are newer systems available that are easier to use, so this will not apply to all Acura's, such as 2018 and newer MDXs', RDX's, TLX's, or ILX's.

This nav. system is complete garbage. Phone nav. apps are far better. Wish I bought my car without this.
Can you show compass direction(east, west, southeast...) on the map?

My 2015 Acura ILX doesn't have two screens, and I don't see any option to get a keyboard. Each letter is entered separately, either by voice or manually.
Based on this video, I would buy a car from you!!!! - if I were in your state Tutorial definitely beats the manual and the instructions from our dealer.

My 2015 TLX requires that I push the talk button before speaking even with the voice prompt turned off. How do I get it to prompt me with beeps without having to press the talk button again?
Go to settings --> system settings ---> set voice prompt to off
Gary Force Acura Yes, I’ve already done that.
That is the only setting available to change that will eliminate the multiple button presses. Once that is off you should only have to press it once to start the process. Feel free to give us a call if you need further help.
Do u know how to switch it from Canadian to United States? 🤔 its a 2009 acura mdx programmed to Canada and needs to be united states...
I don't but I can do some digging to see if it is possible.

Very slow process its the worst in navigation so far
What suggestions do you have to improve it?
@@Garyforceacura One improvement would be a voice control to cancel. I can never get my system to give me verbal commands. This is a new to us Acura and so far really disappointing and it seems the system overrides my phone so that I cannot use it to navigate either. I am still hoping this is a learning curve that can be figured out but it is not at all intuitive.
