My job just sent me through CompTIA's Network+ boot camp. It was about $2K. People will say it's overpriced, but it was light years better than a course I took through a different company a couple years ago, and there's a ton of study material/practice questions aside from just the lectures. Planning on taking the exam towards the end of the month.
Update: passed with a 741 (passing score is 720). Only used the resources that came with the CompTIA bundle. Hoping to have my CCNA by the end of the year.
Personally, the most difficult part of the CCNA was automation and wireless. I haven't worked a whole lot with automation, so a lot of it was fresh information. Thanks for the shout out, let's keep grinding!
That's a lot of work brother, but like you said, if you are hungry for input then do it! I failed my A+ but just because we pass a test doesn't mean we can do that work. A lot of the questions were not in my study guide.
Hey I think network engineering still has about five more years before the jobs really start shrinking. Devops, automation, and cloud computing are beginning to phase things out. I honestly I’m not 100% sure where things are gonna lead. best thing I can do is rack up all the experience and knowledge I can before that time comes.😮💨
@@TheBuffNerd7539 very informative veideo! Thank you also thanks for taking my joke lmao. I’m leaving the military getting into IT I have my degree but no certain that’s what I’m working on. I’m definitely going to leverage my experience and negotiate like you said. Semper fi
From one former Generator Mechanic to another, Congrats on the 5K subscribers Bro!!!!

Appreciate the shout out bro! 🔥
Already have the A+ planning on getting my NET+ and SEC+ in the next 2 months, maybe AWS before the year is over
Update: Now, I got the compTIA trifecta , thinking AWS or Azure or CCNA next. I'm not sure yet
Your tech content is amazing, thanks for all the work! Would you ever consider making a video on working out/time management etc? Thanks 🙂
I've been hearing the network engineer positions are shrinking and cloud positions are growing. What's your opinion on this?
