@@fordefankiel4314 I hear what you are saying but having seen and followed them in their early career in England, they sadly didn't receive the notoriety that other bands like Led Zepplin and Deep Purple there received. Compare all the players in this band, they were top notch muscians.
I was there as my first Wacken and the last day I wanted to stay chill since I was completely exhausted from the previous days. Then I arrived at Uriah Heep as I wanted to see them and... On this song I've rocked more than anything else, didn't even felt anymore the neck or back pain I've accumulated. Another world. Glad they were there, I will remember them for a very long time
So ok... the guitar player (at least I think he looks like Mick) is Mick Box - now Hensley, Thain, Kerslake, and Byron (singer) have all passed away (Rest in peace gentlemen), so i think these guys are doing a pretty damn good job of carrying on the sound.
Uriah Herp....just behind Zepplin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. .....fantastic era of Power Hard Rock!!!!
These guys belong in the Book of Genesis of the Metal Bible.

@@eduardsiger1860 Well, technically Heep came out with their debut around the same time as Sabbath. Either way, they're still metal pioneers. Just 'cause Zeppelin came before Sabbath, that doesn't mean that Sabbath aren't pioneers. So why say the same about Heep?
These guys still send lots of chills down my spine. Just awesome. First time I see them live 1980's.
I can't get over how great they all still sound! I feel like, to top it all off, that drummer has the best expression on his face the whole time. Talk about loving your job. He's just smiling away, bouncing all around!

Ich hatte die Band 2013 in der Dortmunder Westfalenhalle gesehen, Da hatten sie den Opener für Status Quo gemacht.

lied geil sound nicht so ganz. Gefühltes Wacken Merkmal seit einiger Zeit. Hört sich z.T. an als ob mit dem Handy aufgenommen. Warum? Haben die Techniker da nur Leergehäuse rumstehen? Falls ja, warum wird man dann wegen Schadenersatz angezeigt wenn man als generveter Festivalgast mal nen Bierbecher ins Mischpult wirft?
