Same. I got real attached to Phil. It was all the worse because ya know he's not an actor that can come back to life at any time, that it's really final. Broke my heart. Still does. Fly high, Phil! We miss you!

He kinda reminds me of my dad on his two boats. He loved his 42 foot boat and his 30 foot tugboat. The show is not the same without him. I so glad to his oldest boy doing great and glad to see his boat back on the ocean doing great. I got to meet Phil and his crew down at Astoria Oregon at a sea food event and got to take a tour on his boat.

Phil Harris was my favourite crab fisherman out of Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch because of all his weird facial expressions during each episode of the show from 2006 to 2010 all but 12 years ago

Just in his last few weeks he looks like he aged 30 years. SOOO much stress on him. The stress was killing him. His coping with the stress with alcohol, chain smoking, RedBull and pot after pot of coffee took a terrible toll. Anyone's body would break going through that. I wish that people could just live their lives and the world would be a better place. I love ya Phil. I hope you found peace.
Then later Sig by has the Widow Maker heart attack over the same stress and chain smoking to cope. I don't want crab if it kills guys like this. Its the real deadliest catch.

    The Bering Sea Poem
I fished a place like no other place you’ll ever find on earth.
A place where the hardwork and danger can and should reflect a man's worth.
I fished a place where the hours were long, sleep rare, if at all. A place where even the strong sometimes stumble and fall.
I fished a place where you spend countless hours, pulling countless pots. A place where the memory of her back home is thought in countless thoughts.
I fished a place where the weather can turn bad in the blink of an eye. A place where those will get hurt and some will even die. I love this place and the pride that it’s given me. You see, very few people on the face of this earth can say, “I‘ve crab fished the Bering Sea.”

It's a simple concept basic logic if life is not free why the hell would death be any cheaper it's not. So the question one may wonder is the spiritual cost to one's own soul and spirit for having lived and died to the lowest standards of quality for so many years now global pollution has diminished the quality of life to the point where today's people are living, dying and yielding the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested since the beginning of life only getting worse. The polar opposite extreme to that is today's people should be living and dying to the highest standards of quality which would make each and every moment physically, mentally, financially and spiritually beneficial. The first song wasn't right for this.
That song is a "fuck you, I'm out" song.
Only issue I had with this.
    Otherwise this was heartbreaking
