I think that sonically this album flows way better than Over It. After the first two listens, I think sis has way more catchy songs on here. I’m just happy she ain’t fall off with the second release.😭😭👏🏾👏🏾

@@alenkamberovic9095 yea, I think Over It definitely had more catchy, fun songs but Still Over It was an album that flowed better because it told a story versus Over It more so felt like a bunch of fun, sexy songs because Summer was in love at the time. They’re both solid albums to me, but for different reasons.

She went in on this album. You can clearly tell she let out all her emotions and hurt in this album. I love it!! It gives me heartbreak r&b vibes
What I love and hate about Summer is that she be doing these runs so effortlessly and making me feel like I can do it then I try and I sound terrible😭😭

this is much better than her first album imo. the sound is more polished and diverse, there’s a more focused concept and she sells it really well, the songs are more complete and her vocals have improved a lot. i really enjoyed it !
Summer has yet to miss with one of her projects… Listen to Last Day of Summer, CLEAR, Over It, and Life On Earth
& of course Session 32 which was her first single
IMO I will forever love session 32 more, but session 33 is also so good
Her singing is so unique that’s why I love her. Seems like her and sza have their own way of singing and it’s great, top favorite artists

Her label wanted her to put out ex for a reason. If it wasn’t up to the label she would’ve put out toxic
Honestly… I’m kind of shocked? Because none of her other songs sound like Ex. It was definitely meant to push her onto the radio by her label, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. I like Ex and I was lowkey expecting more songs that sound like that.

I’m doing a top 4 as well: Circus, Constant BS, Closure & Broken Promises
But based off my first initial listen I hearted 9/20 songs but once I listen to it a couple more times I’m sure I’ll like more. Also if I had to choose between Over It and Still Over It I’m picking the latter because there’s no auto tune, at least from my knowledge and I’m just able to connect a lot more because of that.

this was my first time hearing any of her music and i was not disappointed i thought it was a great album, she has more songs that i loved than ones i didn’t. my favorite tracks are (in no order): ex for a reason, constant bullshit and dat right there.

It was a lot behind that bitter song. Summer had a lot happen with the father of her child and a great bit of it it played out in IG. So if you say this then the bitter song would’ve made more sense.

Have you ever heard of HEROES DEL SILENCIO?
They are a true Gem of a Band and the most famous Rock band from Spain and for good reason.
Hardly anyone seems to know them in the English speaking world, which is such a shame! The singer, Enrique Bunbury, has a very expressive baritone voice. Great musicians all of them.
Check out 'El espiritu del Vino' for starters- their best album imo.
You won't regret this discovery. Quality is quality

Ex For A Reason is the only really upbeat song on the album, you can tell that it’s the only song that don’t match with this album (production wise because everything makes sense lyric wise). she didn’t wanna drop it but her label made her anyway
