Who is he kissing new DvF Extended Version 2013 for the release of the album Jem & The Holograms DvF Extended & Remixed Reloaded.
Better Quality and revamped Video with new scenes plus a 4:00 minutes extension, so I am still wondering if Jerrica's kiss taste different for Rio when she is Jem, who knows?

The way Jerica is jealous of herself has been haunting me for 24 years 🙃
I have a theory that the death of her father and loosing his company was a lot for her so she made a jem. Is this ridiculous yes fun absolutely.

Like, knowing the truth from her perspective probably makes her look a little goofy for being jealous over herself (although I'd argue she's insecure on the fact that she doesn't know which side of her he loves the most: the act or the actor) HOWEVER, from anyone and everyone else’s perspective, he is a clear red flag. It worked out that the girl he cheated on were both the same person but imagine if they weren't, imagine the possibility of him being with other women.

Let me put what I think about it, it seems that Jerrica did not want to hurt Rio's pride that's all, everyone (The Holograms) knows about Jem, but only Rio don't so is not only Jerrica who tricked him in that case, so is obvious he will be mad with everyone, being him this "supermacho" who dated two girls at the same time but oh surprise those girls are the same one so who's the fool now? and that is why she did not say it, Jerrica also deals with the feeling that Rio seems to be more fascinated for Jem than herself or in this case the real Jerrica, because they say it many times, Jem is everything that Jerrica isn't so the fear of Rio choosing Jem after her even if they are the same kills her deep inside... But hey is just a Cartoon right? and you know what Jem is about, so she sing a song about it...

I am actually surprised that Rio never noticed that Jem's hair was only an illusion while he was kissing her. To kiss her, he would need to get pretty close and he would probably want to run his hands through her voluninous 80's locks.😄

Telling Rio really only becomes an issue when you acknowledge that Jem pursues relationships with Rio _and_ other men so Jerrica really can’t be considered any less of a cheater than Rio considering how clear it is that she never drew a true distinction between Jem and herself

Jerrica created Jem to join a band contest that she couldn’t have otherwise joined since the contest was sponsored by her father’s company. It was stupid of Jerrica to hit on Rio when she was Jem.

These two women wear the same earrings, are the same height, both names begin with letter "J", sound similar in voice and are never seen together in the same are except on two occasions yet have never interacted? After listening to this song for about a month, i must say is catch and enjoyable.
Rio's doofness apart, I think the message of the lyrics is try to make an effort at communicating with loved ones.
Yes: staying in the limbo of jealousy is somehow hard yet romantic, but it doesn't help, otherwise you open the road to miscomprehension.

Alas, both Hasbro & Integrity Toys used to make the Jem dolls last year, but not anymore because Integrity Toys no longer have Hasbro's license to continued to make anymore Jem dolls. When the year 2025 comes, it will be the 40th anniversary of Jem & The Holograms.

I've just commented on another JatH video thread that the IRL 21st century singer that most closely approached what Jerrica achieved in the cartoon was indeed Taylor Swift and she is "born to play" Jem in the same way Jessica Simpson was "born to play" Daisy Duke from "The Dukes of Hazzard", which she did to perfection (even with the movie's lack of quality) in the theatrical version of the TV series.
So now you know who should play Jem when "saner minds" look into the JatH "source material"...

Honestly this wasn't the most healthy relationship... I mean Rio is pretty much cheating on jerrica with jem, even though their technically the same person. Jerrica doesn't mind, due to her also being Jam but Rio doesn't know that. I know its played off as jerrica and Rio is such a perfect match that he attracted to her even when she's in disguise, but in reality its just showing Rios got a type and is willing to get romantic with anyone who fits it. Sure if jerrica is present he'll pick her, but if the blonde ain't around and jem is there he'll flirt till his hearts content.
Not to mentions Rios temper and possessive behavior. First incident I can think of coming from the top of my head, is in season one when they were shooting a movie, and during a kissing scene between men and this other actor (which while the actor is interested in jem she is very clearly not interested in him), Rio runs up to the other man and clocked him in the face. Rios reason for assulting a guy, "I though he was bugging you". Sure the actor was a jackass and deserved the hit still, they WERE ACTING A SCENE IN A MOVIE Rio had no reason for attacking him out of nowhere. Next is when Riot is introduced, Rio literally runs back to the ruins of the old starlight house after an argument with jem about her trying to get the stingers to work for starlight music, due to Riots interest in her. The purple haired dude is throwing a temper tantrum over a girl who he's not even with, as he is technically still with jerrica in all of these situations.
Finally there the matter of the reveal that never took place. When syngery makes a hologram of Rio for jerrrica/jem to practice telling Rio her secret, the first reaction the highly intelligent super computer picks to display is anger. That doesn't raise some red flags to anyone? Even later Rio has the exact same reaction to kimber, jerrica younger sister, when she lies. Sure, its stated that he " hates liars" but you can hate liars and still not lose your shit on them. I personally think that jerrica is scared of Rios reaction and that's why she doesn't tell him.
