Hello, thank you so much for this video. My husband and I are nomads or slow travelers. We stay in any given country for as long as our American passports allow, which is normally 90 days and then move on. We are considering coming to cypress next year from end of January to end of April before heading back into Schengen zone. We've never been to Cypress. From your video it looks very much like Croatia (we mostly stay in Istria when we come to Croatia). But I guess the climate in Cypress is a bit milder. We are thinking of staying somewhere not in a town, but rather a bit inland somewhere hilly, so we plan to rent a car. Do you think it's better to live closer to Pathos or to Limassol? We love hiking and walking the beach too. We are 50+, but rather active. Hope to rent bikes too, maybe go to a pool (don't know if there are any covered pools with lap lines there). Thank you for any insight you may share.
I definitely recommend coming to Cyprus! And if you’re outdoorsy people who like hiking or mountain biking then I think Paphos is a good choice because it’s close to a lot of beautiful nature in the Akamas National Park!
Still looks a lot better than the UK in the winter !...looks like Cyprus is a possible retirement country for me.
