The president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Felix Tshisekedi, has slammed Western nations for their attitude and moral lecturing towards Africa. In a recent interview, he said that China and Russia are less sneaky than the West and the nations are partners with clear interest coming through the front door. The president was talking about the ease of doing business with Beijing and Moscow. Tshisekedi further stated that Russia and China treat the DRC with better esteem and more clear intentions without the need to lecture like Western countries. His remarks come as a survey last month showed the US is losing its soft power edge in Africa.

As a Congolese, the United States has always been on the wrong side of our history , the US foreigner policy toward DR Congo has caused more harm than any of our relationship with any country and has destroy many Congolese lives.
From the assassination of Patrice Lumumba who went to seek support to end Belgium supported rebellion the Katanga in the around 1960s , the US of course chose Belgium, Lumumba got help from Russia who gave us planes to end the rebelion that was ended by general Mobutu who later supported by Americans commited a coup , became marechal mobutu and controled the country for 3 decades while serving American interest and being a dictator in service of the west interest in Africa. In the 1990s after the Berlin wall failed and cold war ended, the US new policies in Africa didn't need Mobutu, they got rid of him, brought Lauremt Kabila with Kagame rebellion to take him out, Kabila turned his back on US refusing to bow to their demands, he was assassinated and the US using Rwanda submitted the Congo to 3 decades of war and looting where American multinationals like Apple and Microsoft are well documented funding war in Congo... Rwanda has been protected and funded to be the destabilizing country . The UK and US denied Congolese the right to freedom, their powerful news houses praise Rwanda and kept quiet about the war and massacre in the Congo. Now that the truth is coming out the US is condemning Rwanda but no serious actions are taken. The Congolese new president is scared to go to Russia just because he remembers how they dealt with Lumumba, the Congo had never been on the good side of treatment with US international politics and around never hope to start now. On the other hand Russia has shown us several time support and sympathy
