- "Bound to the iron will of the tyrant Lich King, the vast Undead armies of the Scourge seek to eradicate all life on Azeroth. Led by the Banshee Sylvanas Windrunner, a group of renegades broke away from the Scourge and freed themselves of the Lich King's domination. Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain its freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters. With Sylvanas as their Banshee Queen, the Forsaken have built a dark stronghold beneath the ruins of Lordaeron's former capital city. This hidden Undercity forms a sprawling labyrinth that stretches beneath the haunted woods of Tirisfal Glades. Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience. Harboring no true loyalty for their new allies, they go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come to fruition. As one of the Forsaken, you must massacre any who pose a threat to the new order, Human, Undead, or otherwise."

I still remember playing my little undead mage, the wondrous dark halls of that giant maze called undercity, when after hours of wandering, I finally came face to face with the Dark Lady herself, it made the whole befuddling journey so worth while. Sylvanas was my queen and regardless of what happens now, she will ever be the most fierce Banshee Queen. Have to admit, I really miss Undercity.

Every halloween I think of Sylvanas's speach at hallows end:
"Children of the Night, heed your Queen's call!
I join you in celebration of this most revered of nights - the night we Forsaken broke the Scourge's yoke of oppression!
It is this night that our enemies fear us the most. It is THIS night that we show our enemies what it means to stand against the Forsaken!

Thank you for the quote, it is appreciated. It is also always worth noting, that her sentiment was heartfelt at that time. Granted, she was still being selfish and cared little for the Forsaken other than a vehicle for her vengeance but at least she was still our Queen at this point!
I remember gathering my courage to create a forsaken character when I was a little kid, I was afraid of zombies back then but I was just So curious about the storyline of that race. It took forever to just enter Undercity because each time something made jump and make my avatar run the hell away from each monster, but the towns scared me more. Undercity was in my nightmares, especially when I ran into the citizens killing humans as a game. Or the butchers, quests and all.
It was a hell of fun
So much love i have for the forsaken. We are diffrent. We only care for ourself. The Horde is just something we use while we wait, while we grow. Embrace the shadow, for the dark lady. FORSAKEN.

The last thing Sylvanas wants is to embrace the shadows. She had no idea what she was dealing with until she briefly died. Her shadow priests are messing with pretty freaky ****.

While the Forsaken are generally awful people, there is still something heroic about even the worst of them. Even the fact that they exist in itself a massive act of bravery?
You know how in the Last of Us, the zombies at early stages of infection cry and weep because they are still just conscious enough to understand their actions but unable to resist the urges to kill and feed on human flesh? That's essentially what every Forsaken went through, except in their universe, there was still a chance for them to become themselves again. And they took it.
Imagine being turned into a horrific monster, unable to do anything but watch as your body was used to slaughter your friends and family. Now imagine enduring this horrific trauma, but still remaining yourself deep inside, so that when the opportunity presents itself, you take back control. Imagine the sheer strength of will you would need to do so.
That's the Forsaken. Evil or good, the very fact of their existence is a heroic act that few would be capable of.
I remember when I first created this mix, I didn't think I did a very good job for some reason. Now this is probably my favorite mix I've made. Thank you so much for all you guys' support! (P.S... the Goblin mix will come by the end of the year. I promise!)

This mix perfectly describes the Forsaken, I love it! I'm for the Alliance, but I love Sylvanas and her Forsaken
My first character was a tauren warrior, but my second was an undead rogue. I loved him. He was just a funny little guy creeping across Azeroth.
Maybe I passed by you on the journey... but you'd never know~

I have almost forgotten that I used to love the Forsaken back in WotLK. The quest in BfA when the guy you helped resurrect is rejected by his family helped me remember. Yes, the Forsaken are very much evil, but they are ultimately very tragic figures.
Sometimes I wish that Blizzard went a different path with the Forsaken after Cata. Make them focus more on their own survival, rather than making them full-on evil conquerors.
But still, for the Horde, remember Lordaeron!
This is dark and brilliant just like Slyvanas herself.
It would be very funny/cool if someone made an animation of the forsaken as an orchestra, Sylvanas being the conductor since she is controlling them.
Abominations would be playing drums and little forsaken violin and trumpets. The guy crying would represent the pain they feel and the pain they enforce upon the alliance.
This song could also highlight the moments before Grand Apothecary Putricide plagued the horde and alliance at Ice crown citadel while the forsaken were climbing up the mountain behind the horde. Then the climax would be Apothecary Putricide saying his famous lines, and the ending would shift to a scene with Sylvanas grimly grinning as a reporter tells her the successful execution of the plague.
Overall great compilation, this mix is emotionally invigorating. A animation/video effect would bring this song to life and additional millions of views

"Epic" doesn't even do it justice. All of these 'Epic Music Mixes' are phenomenal! If there was ever a live orchestral performance of this I'd be first in line.

I am surprised that none of the Nazgul music or themes was in this. Still marvelous composition of songs. They fit perfectly with the Forsaken Undead.

If every forsakens looks as good as Sylvanas, then I will choose them over all other races of the horde. Maybe after Legion, all of the forsaken got a cure and become non-decayable.
