Looks and sounds great. Is the fretboard dyed dark like the Custom Sops often are. It looks like it.

The fretboard should be Brazilian. Fender stopped using it in 66. It does look awesome.

Yep. Just repaint it. When you prematurely "age" it, you ruin it. Especially when you paint it a killer color. Then you sand through the finish. STOP DOING STUPID SHIT, LIKE THAT!!

Yeah I agree. Not a fan of relics at all but this one looks extra weird and fake. That said their guitar their choice. I dont like blue guitars either.
