Hi! I hope you're enjoying the game! :D Characters that have a Blue MP gauge can spam skills by holding Z and releasing once the bar is filled up to the MP cost you want to use. So if you want to spam the 2nd skill, hold Z until 2 bars of MP is full! Just be careful because if you are attacked while charging MP, you will be counterattacked and lose all the MP you charged. To change jobs, you need to have unlocked Weapon Change. To do this, you can purchase the Double Dealin' Dungeoneer mission in the Shop (Academy tab) to get a weapon change key and then you can unlock the 2nd weapon slot in your inventory :) Once you set a second weapon, you just press the Ctrl key in-dungeon to switch weapons!
Mind you, I played GC completely f2p when I was a kid. I have disposable income now, so I'm giving my inner child the experience he never got to have :)
Duel drops 2 accessories: Eclipse and Transcendence. You can combine them in the Forge if you get one of each for the same character. He used to drop them for any character but I believe he should only drop them for the character you are using as of yesterday’s patch :)
I prefer Backlash and Charged Bolt because they are close-range and do very good damage and cost less MP. I use Freeze Tempest mostly on rooms with lots of enemies or giant enemies because that’s when it’s the most useful in my opinion.
In short, yes! She’s like a more accessible version of Ley where the payoff isn’t at the very end. She’s an MP hybrid too so you can spam skills a recover MP by hitting enemies! I personally like her a lot and she’s become one of my main characters for farming hero dungeons. I also have a guide up for her that might help you decide!
