Great tips and ideas that really help to remind us to stop that negative chatter. I have a tip for you. Wiping away some of the paint to expose some of the paint and lovely colours you were sad to lose. I use kitchen wipes and sometimes an old plastic shopping card. Its great to learn new ways of coping with paintings that you feel stuck on. The idea of having 3 on the go is another good idea... Thanks for such an informative video. @ You are absolutely correct about it being hard on the psyche. It’s one thing if I don’t like what I’ve done because I’m exhausted at the end of a painting session. Most of the time I like it the next day or several days later. But when I get stuck and can’t finish a piece it does tend to have a feeling of failure. I’ve saved your video to come back to next time it happens and to help me keep working on some unfinished pieces. Thank you! ❤️

Do you actually have painting courses too? By the way, your cat is so cute. It's nice how you integrate them into the painting process......I have 3 cats myself and one of them is always in my studio and helps me paint.

It’s helpful to see how much work you put into a painting. I tend to be impatient and want to get to the final result. I’m not sure why.
