I’ve been wanting to learn this for a bit I’m now blessed I found this because there was some part I just couldn’t get my head around. Incredible cover btw.
Governor's Honors Program, in the state of Georgia. i go to the same school as the drummer in the video (I'm a bass player :) and i went to GHP last year. a bunch of the jazz concerts are still up if you look up GHP Jazz 2022.
Sheet music is broken into measures. Each measure has a key and a time signature. The key tells you which scale to use. The time signature tells you how many beats are in a measure, and which note gets the beat. For example 4/4 time is four beats, with each quarter note getting one beat. A whole note is four beats and is marked as a circle. A half note is 2 beats and is marked as a circle with a stick. A quarter note is a filled in circle with a stick. An eighth note is a filled in circle with a stick and a flag. A sixteenth note is a filled in circle with a stick and two flags. Triplets are three notes splitting a beat. The staff is 5 lines and four spaces. There can also be additional lines and spaces for notes above or below the staff's range. In the treble clef, the staff lines are from bottom to top E, G, B, D, F. In the bass clef, the staff lines are from top to bottom A, F, D, B, G.

Can you post a video on how to play with sheet music?
There's already countless resources available online to learn from. Just hire a music teacher.
