Cars 2 (also known as Cars 2: The Video Game) is a 2011 racing game based on the 2011 film of the same name. Originally announced at E3 2011, the game was released by Disney Interactive Studios on all major platforms in North America on June 21, 2011, and in Australia two days later. The game was released in Europe on July 22, 2011. Versions for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Portable were released later that year in November. The game features an array of Cars characters competing in spy adventures, as well as racing.
Based on Pixar's computer-animated film, Cars 2: The Video Game follows the exploits of car characters Lightning McQueen and Mater as they train in a secret facility known as CHROME, short for Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage. They are joined by British Intelligence agents Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell as they attempt to become the car-equivalent of spies. Several characters from the Cars 2 film appear, with additional characters from the first film and Cars Toons animated shorts available as downloadable content. - Ігри

I've played SEVERAL hours of this when i was a kid, most of my time was with this game, though i never actually knew how to unlock some new characters since i still didnt knew how to read english

Damn compared to the first cars game the first cars still fresh and aged well till this day because it's being developed by the developer who actually experience in making a racing video game compared to cars 2

How did you manage to run the game at a higher resolution and framerate? Is this a different copy of the game than the standard one or do you have something else like a modded PS3?
He’s using an emulator, that’s why it’s at a higher frame rate and resolution. I have a modded ps3 and it’s not possible to unlock the frame rate nor change the resolution higher than 720p
Cars 2 is 60 fps on PS3 though. It just lacks framedrops and lag here

i thought it was pretty fun for a film, nowhere near as bad as some people say it was, but toy story 2 and 3, up, the original cars, finding nemo, finding dory, and monsters inc top it 100% in my book.

The movie may not be a great thing, but the game is good. Like GOOD
Man, this is in my opinion, the best Cars game ever made. I remember playing it on my Wii for hours when I was a kid. I used to race with my brother, he'd choose Shu Todoroki and i'd choose Francesco all the time. It was amazing when you unlocked a new badge and car. Until this day, I am yet to see a better Cars game.
Same, the powerups, tracks, cars and game modes were all amazing. I always used the secret codes to make it even more enjoyable. Truly a beautiful game

I had this game in PC back in 2013. Somehow this is better then the PC version. I wonder if they have it for PS4. cause I don't own a PS3. but I have a PS4.
