this video helped me so much like the cone thing that it can place further than any other build helped me sooo much and the drills are absolutely amazing thank you for this video
great video, a good video idea would be comfortable key binds for beginners since people like me can't find comfortable binds and continue to switch back to controller 😀
Tip for comfortable binds, if your first switching to kbm or first playing fortnite dont be afraid to experiment with weird binds, like reidtheninja uses uhjk and edits with spacebar, hes fine, but you dont wanna get to as high of a level as vibin jivan with suboptimal binds, look at how much his index finger moves around and not to mention he cant move right and edit, its fine for him and most pros that have suboptimal binds but some like mrsavage regret his choices and cant change due to him already being at such a high level making his binds better will make him worse. There isnt any indepth vid to perfectly get them, but find the ones you like and even if they arent perfect the less you move your fingers the better.
Just experiment around with comfortable binds at first. You’ll get used to binds really fast once you have yours set. Sensitivity too, you get accustomed to a new sens incredibly fast. If you have no idea then just copy a pro’s key binds. I personally found SypherPK’s binds really comfortable. The downside to that is that you have to get them by watching their gameplay and copying it down like that.
I’ve been on keyboard for two months now when I first started on keyboard, I kept going back to the controller because I couldn’t find the right binds I’m telling you to just play around with things and keep switching them until something clicks but I feel I have a really good optimal keybinds if you would like my key bins, let me know and I’ll be glad to help
Yo thank you bro I'll make sure to practice these everyday cuz I'm positive this is it going to actually help me cuz this is mainly focuses on crosshair placement and building 👍🏾🫡
For those who think that just because it is creative and people in real game are different I have a suggestion. A little over a year ago I played like a chapter 1 player. I wanted to come back to the game and didn't know how to beat good players. When you get good mechanics, stop focusing on your builds It's the number 1 mistake I've seen people do, focus on the enemy because eventually building should become second nature Get good mechanics, work on reaction time, and just play alot of ranked solos. If your nervous to play solos then play duos and do your absolute best to try and carry every game you play with a friend. Try to get good at winning 1v2s by making alot of space with your builds. And try to understand why you lost a fight. If you get mad that you died come back to it once your refreshed and look at the mistakes you made that costed you that fight. And this stuff takes time, don't give up the important stuff in your life to be good at fortnite. You only get 1 life and unless you have too much time on your hands you probably won't become a pro. games are meant to be fun, don't ruin your whole day because of a few bad games.
All of jivians tutorials do work if you actually practice them. Just take some time to get used to them, I don't use them anymore but at 1 point they were genuinely the most help I got when it came to getting good at fortnite
Best building and editing improvement guide yet. My only comment is add to more speed options 50 60 70 80 90 100 is what I use on other maps, I think they are super important in learning building efficiently
I say make one single video covering everything on how to get better on keyboard and mouse for beginnings who are switching from controller. If there’s one person who can do such a video it’s you jivan ❤❤
FOR CONSOLE PLAYERS!! in the settings there is a setting, go to game settings, building, and there is a auto confirm edits setting. idk if this is already known but it was new to me. i tried just auto confirming resets but i actually found to like it set on both. time saver for controllers since it already is alot of pressing and pushing around.
It exsists on pc to just not as normally used. I have played with it on for quiet sometime but i have recently turned it of. It gives you a much better piece control technique aswell as better crosshair placement.
Problem with the map: When im in freebuild, there's no option to access other parts of the map, so i have to go back to the lobby and rejoin to go to piece control or smth else
Thx once again Jivan Btw how do u add videos to creative/UEFN maps coz I rly wanna but have not been able to find out how… I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER THE INTERNET FOR MONTHS NOW 😭
Bro is just flexing his insane tracking at the end xd. He also has better flicks than me eventhough I play Valorant and CS on a fairly high level. So what im trying to say he is just insane.
Alright so question: Is edit on release bad? Is confirm on reset bad? Is both bad? Is using edit on release only but still having to tap the edit button a second time after resetting a build a good combo? What’s the best here. I use confirm on both and I feel like sometimes I make too many mistakes.
Its perfect video bro. Like PERFECT. Im unreal in zero build bcs im very good to aim (thx 15+yrs of cs :D). But the build fights are things i lost always, since i couldnt piece control and only could do ramp and walls XD. I have done for purpose some build fights and i realized that its SO PSYCHOLOGICAL. If you are the first one to rush; 50% players will panic and you get enemy boxed/controlled 100% :D. Here, take a sub :D
Thanks for the video, very useful. Question: I have my reset both bound to my scroll wheel and caps lock. When doing cone resets, should I practice with the scroll wheel reset (which 'spins' a bit and sometimes also causes the nearby walls to reset, or should I go for the reset with caps lock?
Cone resets should be done with whatever is more consistent. I have scroll wheel reset but its not as consistent as right click so for quick resets I use scroll but for reset edits i use right click
I have just been trying to consistently get the doubles down, and my hands cant keep up with my brain. I keep placing a cone instead of a stair, sometimes I dont even place a floor, sometimes I go into the edit and it cancels. Like gosh dang people these days must have the most insane mind to hand connection ever.
any tips in what to do with my fingers, its just that my pinky and thumb kinda dont work with anything. I mean, im not able to click buttons and stuff like that
As a beginner, when I'm doing 1v1s everyone is just so much better than me that I can't really learn anything because I just get shit on, what should I do?

My personal builds binds are
Floor: Z
Wall: X
Ramp: C
Cone: Side Mouse button idk what its called 💀

Bro I missed you thank you
Yay jivan is grinding yt
I just switched to kbm and this is a lifesaver of my time
Jivan! You need to stand further back when you do a right hand window edit. You can show less of your body that way.
I'm saving this video for when I get a PC
FOR CONSOLE PLAYERS!!

I have a question. Wnen u place a cone in their box and when u place a stair in their box? Good video.
The cone drag has solved everything!
Waiting to train my mechanics until my wooting 80HE show up. Great video though.
Amazing
Yo Jivan, what are your keyboard settings? Actuation point, rapid trigger, etc?
He is so underrated
the one I need help is building boxes inside of the player sometimes the building just goes everywhere.
Lets go new video
Thx once again Jivan
Btw how do u add videos to creative/UEFN maps coz I rly wanna but have not been able to find out how… I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER THE INTERNET FOR MONTHS NOW 😭
add a perfect peak mode so that you know if you get hit
Yo jivan, what’s your sensitivity and dpi?
Imagine how many pros youve just made
Bro remembered his youtube password
Hey Jivian can you pls make a tutorial on cones how to use cones and how to cone players ❤
YO ITS BACK
jivan please fix your map the for practice map when you do triple edits it checks off quad edits

Next season imma lock in on kbm, but I don’t know how to find good binds
I have been using this map
Can we have a controller tutorial? I’m terrible at doing fast edits but I can’t find anything to improve
hi i have been playing your map for atleast 5 days but i haven't seen any improvments, infact im getting worse. Could you help me?
2:14 cries in confirm on release.
If you have only edit on release then you can still do it instead of putting it on both just change it to edit only
I like how theres no way to go back to lobby of the map
this video is good im so good at piece control now i posted videos on my free build and 1v1s.
this vid is for me
Sorry if this is stupid but how do u edit with v w/o mashing ur space bar?
For every subscriber I get, I will eat 1 grain of salt💯

So why do most clear both spots on one side of the floor vs one? Just curious see this alot

Where did the joystick go ?
