They replaced him with some super skilled 6 string bassist who plays in an orchestra death metal band... he's insane, and a perfect fit for the band imo. Search for the video "Obscura - Linus Klausenitzer" - its also on the right as a related link, explaining all about him.
I see that they play 7 strings on this album, what tuning do they play in? If I remember correctly they play 6-string DGCFAD, so with a 7 they'd have it be ADGCFAD?
That was honestly a bit disappointing. They don't come off near as brutal live as they do in studio albums , and they don't really deliver much . The guitar and singing often gets a bit too much for christian it would seem , and the solos are just slashed in half. Still love their studio stuff but I wouldn't want to see them live now.
well what did you expect from the slowest most lethargic song from the new cd? But as far as quality I beg to differ. I could hear the guitar solos quite well, and the vocals were right on the money. Sounds near perfect to me. I would pay to see them live. I would support any over seas band working for a living.
That's probably because this isn't a professional recording and has absolutely no bass in the mix. I'm currently using a surround sound system hooked up to my laptop with an 8" subwoofer turned up all the way and all I get is treble.
This song is so Morbid Angel-ish. Great stuff!
The lead singer plays a "Ran" custom made guitar. I believe you can order a copy of the exact guitar from Ran.
no longer. I asked and they said its not available
This guys only have 3 albums and they have become one of my favorite bands! Such good music they make!
What do you think of Akroasis and Diluvium.
necrophagist never dissapoint us
@@thecyphersupreme They did dissapointed me when i discovered they only had 2 albums

myrkul777 Linus is awesome. Also in the amazing Alkaloid
Best live version !! thanks for uploading this !
Perfect quality, as always. It's joy to watch your masterpieces.
I'm so lucky to have seen this same lineup in a bar 75x smaller than this place! Top 5 thing...
Great tune! And Tuuka Rask playing drums makes it even better! Hahaha!
@MetalFee666 it is harder than you think
especially if your tapping and string skipping ability and such is not developed
Soooo good.
Just tremendous.
@hadshark It's a custom Ran made for Steffen only.
This band is so great, will come to Chile to blast heads!!!??
the band just posted tis on their facebook

@TheSlayerito Idk man, hopefully he's on the US tour
@HerrLehmann59 Well, as long as Jeroen plays on the albums I'm happy.
@TheRealGreenshell1 its him dude he grew his hair out
@TheSlayerito I believe he's touring with Pestilence.
@TheSlayerito he left the band :-(
that's a nice Ibanez
@TheSlayerito This bassist was there in Munich, too. He didn't even play a fretless, but an Ibanez BTB 676 with a fretless simulator...
i'd prefer jeroen, but this bassist is pretty good too.
fuck Yeah
Morbid Angel!
Who's the bass player?
Linus Klausenitzer, an oustanding and experienced bass player coming alone with Christian Müenzner and his proyects Eternity's End and Alkaloid 🤘🏾🔥
@snofthndr Thats not him dude. Hes with Pestilence right now.
@tamapaiste1 Damn, if it was steve i wouldn't be so mad lol
@humppppa totally morbid angel!!
