    What a fascinating lecture and special opportunity to learn about the geologic history of our area.
    One of the topics that really stood out was the discussion of the metamorphic rock out in Dewey. Those shimmering cliffs have always caught my eye and to learn those rocks formed 13 miles under the earths surface blew my mind. Thank you National History Institute and Dr. Ranney for this lecture.

    I can never figure out why these lecture series (not just this one) don’t cut out the first parts of the video where they are just waiting for the speaker. It takes two seconds to cut that out. Great lecture by the way.

      @@NaturalHistoryInstitute I absolutely love the work you're all doing. I just want more people to watch these lectures and our collective attention spans are so short these days that lots of people will just move on to the next video if there's any delays. It's an unfortunate part of our evolution but one that must be accounted for.

    Too bad the camera focus is horrible. Can barely see the slides. Otherwise, the lecture was very interesting.
