Brooks Johnson Part 1

Coach of Olympians since 1960
Primarily known as a sprint coach, Brooks was selected Head Coach of the 1984 US Olympic Womens Track & Field Team
He was Head Coach at Stanford University and Cal Poly.
Brooks has been selected for several National Track & Field Halls of Fame
When Brooks got his first coaching job, at St. Albans, in Washington DC, he was a Community Activist.
"I like kicking (butt).I like to win, my whole life has been competitive," and he will continue "until they throw dirt in my face"
Brooks was born at the height of the Great Depression in 1934 in segregated Florida.
