@@HistoryGe3k It was actually Sheldon's mom who trained him on the whole "giving a hot beverage to a distressed guest" thing. Even to the point of there being a specific beverage for different kinds of distressed states. It just often needs to be pointed out to Sheldon that a guest is distressed, as it's difficult for him to recognize emotional states.
I love how Amy reminds Sheldon what to do when he has a guest that is upset.

Amy is great addition to show, she cant' leave. And Mayim is the only actor on show with an actual real world knowledge of science and biology, she helps keep it real and funny.

I’ve always believed that this time in Penny’s life was when she realized that Sheldon and Amy were really her friends too. It didn’t matter that she wasn’t with Leonard, that Amy ran a science experiment while comforting her, that Sheldon was mostly working from the rules of his life. Those two still cared about her and were going to help her through a hard time.

In the scene where Penny cries, I feel bad for her. I know I'm most likely the only one, but nonetheless. And plus, the reason why she broke up with Leonard this time, was because she didn't want to hurt him. Plus he was guilting her about not being ready to say "I love you" to him.
It makes no sense, why would an ex be sad if the other one moves on?

Penny is lucky to have friends like Amy and Sheldon - they truly care about her even if they don't have the smoothest way of showing it
Penny was very clear that she settled for Leonard. From the way she talked down to him in the later seasons, to how long she took to get married. She def didn’t want him, but she settled on him. There’s no fire or passion in that relationship at all which is exactly why Shamy’s relationship were the true lovebirds of the show. Leonard should have ended up with Priya for sure. It def would have been a much better match since she didn’t seem to feel threatened by Leonard’s intelligence and could easily hold her own. Plus they would have had some beautiful babies.
You are so correct. I really hate the way they got rid of priya from the show and put Leonard and Penny back together. Penny only knew how to use and manipulate leonard while priya and Leonard truly loved each other. There are so many instances of this I wouldn't even know where to start
