  • Had these for like 2-3 months.
Threw them away since returns wanted to be a pain with proof and shipping - how’s this for evidence.

All soft wheels are prone to chunking. Especially if you're kicking your board around trying to do tricks with them. OJ Wheels are considered some of the best wheels. They're better than what I ride. But I ride 99a.

Try a slightly harder duro. Soft wheels just chunk like that. Anything under 80a will chunk like that. It happens. OJ wheels are good wheels though. Try their Key Frames. They are softer but not so soft they will chunk. With roads like that tho I'd look for some 80a to 85a wheels. Even the key frames may be too hard for that shit. 😬

It's part of riding a soft wheel, all those bumps you don't feel with soft wheels don't magically disappear. They are absorbed by the wheel and they are going to chunk off pieces, it's just one of those pay to play scenarios and I know spending money isn't fun but to ride with comfort then it cost money. I ride my ojs two miles each day and they last me close to a year so 45bucks for a years worth of fun I feel is worth it and my old wheels are still in better shape then the ones shown. Cleaning the bearings would make you go faster and your ride will be smoother. Your wheels aren't spinning fast enough so they will be more effected by the rocks in the road.

Naaa you need the right Duro for what you want. You can't be power sliding on soft wheels man. Flat spot central. Also wheels naturally lose shape but when you get soft wheels and bomb hills and skate the street instead of a park then you'll get this. Anyway, works man never blames his tools. Only a bad worker
