From a certain point of view. Now lets wonder how Luke got his cleft along his beautiful: round sweet and shy blue eyes+ sand blond hair O.o from?Bangs anyone O.o?
The whole point of Star Wars is thst some things are stronger than love. That although Anakin and Padme got down with lust, the love between Obi Wan and Padme conceived the spirit of her descendants. How Sith inhabited the body of Anakin after he became Darth Vader. How the spirits of Keylo Ren and Rey combined to defeat the Sith. How Leia took Rey as her own and saw her spirit despite her ancestry. There is a parallel between what evil accomplishes and what good does, and how good overcomes evil. This is not out of the blue, this idea of Padme and Obi Wan. In the original script and storyline, the true reason for the Sith to approach Anakin is due to jealousy as Anakin suspects Padme and Obi Wan to love eachother. You can still see the tension in the movie. I think Padme was destined for Obi Wan, and that the mistake of believing Anakin to be the chosen one as a Jedi created Darth Vader and ruined the whole thing. I find Anakin to have been jealous of Obi Wan and wanting to take from him everything that he could, not necessarily out of love but rather ego. He was always eager to take what he could get, and never getting enough. There is a competition between Obi Wan and Anakin, almost a cock fight between them both. And I guess Padme became the prize. In a way, Padme was serving the same values as Obi Wan, putting them first. Anakin seducing Padme and imposing himself as he did, is a way to score on Obi Wan, wasn't it? When Obi Wan is in danger, Anakin is already eager to accept his death and insists on doing nothint by following orders and staying in the ship. Padme challenges him, and goes to rescue him. The truth is, I think there was love and protection between Padme and Obi Wan, and a strength against the Sith, and Anakin forced his way with Padme with superficial charm and lust. A bit of an Adam, Eve, serpent archetype here, bringing death and demise to the story. That's just my rake, but their relationship, Padme and Obi Wan, was the central plot for the original script in the movie, sooo
@@sofiakatelyn Not many people even know that earlier drafts and companion materials hinted at Padmé's crush on Obi-Wan, possibly laying the groundwork for a love triangle. Specific scenes described in the 1996 revised draft of Episode I and the June 1999 LucasArts companion CD-ROM, suggests Padmé's admiration for Obi-Wan BEFORE her relationship with Anakin. So she was supposed to be attracted to Obi-Wan all along. Lucas intended to develop a torrid love triangle, potentially leading to an affair between Padmé and Obi-Wan, which would have a significant impact on the characters and the overall storyline. He scrapped the idea because he thought it resembled Han/Leia too much, but the clues are there (their shared looks, "She was pleased to see us," trusting Obi-Wan and not her own husband). Plus, Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor had wonderful on-screen chemistry. In fact, I think they had better chemistry than Hayden had with Natalie.
