Hey! I'm back.
After around three months of silence and a severe Art Burnout, I'm back to the online world, with News!
Part of the reason why I burned out was that I put too much on my plate, I had been working on an Art Course called Digital Painting Master, a goal of mine that I've had for the past several years. Well, despite the burnout, it is finally happening!

My name is Lucas Peinador, I’m a concept artist and illustrator. I am originally from Costa Rica, now living in Slovenia.
I love painting and teaching about painting. This channel is dedicated to art and creativity, to share the mindset, technique, and tools of an artist working in the Entertainment Industry.

Bro this is totally the same thing that I feel right now , I have worked on a big project and when I finished it , I cant draw anything after . It has been like 2 or 3 months since I last drew an illustration . I hope I can return back again

Creo que vivimos en una época de ‘máxima productividad’ donde nos “tenemos” que sentir culpables por tomarnos un periodo de break.
Una alumna me dijo algo que me cambió la manera de verlo. “Así como trabajamos de fuerte, tenemos que descansar igual de fuerte”. No se sienta culpable ni un segundo por tomarse un descanso, yo sé lo breteador que es ud y más que nadie se merece recargar pilas.
Se vienen cosas grandes para ud, y estoy seguro que va a entrarle con muchas ganas.

Been dealing with burnout for sooo long, no creativity at all! Happy to know what i’m experiencing is burnout and not loosing my creativity. Burnout sucks lol. Thanks for posting this video!

First of all, welcome back! Thanks for that beautiful message. I think it's important that successful artists also speak about the dark times. We often see success and all these perfect lives on social media, but that's not the truth, so - thanks for sharing it! I think you're a really strong person :)
I think the most artists have been struggling and doubting, not only once. It's hard to get through those times but somehow we actually manage to come back. That is why art is our passion and in our blood, because we always get back to it. And it's not about art only, I think everyone who does a job where they invest all their love, concentration and hard work struggle! It simply belongs to it to be successful in a long term. But let's get one thing straight: It's okay to take your time you need to recover!

Thank you for sharing, Lucas and happy to hear that you are back. I don't think that it is bad to take sometimes a step back and sometimes it is our body saying "stop". I'm quite similar to you, if I start I can't stop. But I force myself sometimes to take a break before I completely get into the art block. best wishes!

Hey Aga, Thank you so much for your nice words. I hope so too, it is a hard situation to get out of. About the course, not sure about the price yet, I am trying to put in as much value in as possible before deciding how much will it be. The level will be for beginners and intermediate artists. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to add some material for the advanced ones :)
