We're super happy with our 2019 and 2020 S-F SEL Models. Like the overall styling, size, comfort, great warranty and 33mpg HWY. Wish you would review one to see for yourself and voice your opinion for others.. And yes I could own a Lexus or basically any other SUV but I'm happy with our S-F models, lotta bang for the buck.
A second SUV thought after watching a video on the all new Hyundai 2022 IONIC all elec. model I might purchase one when they comes out this summer, luv the styling in and out.
@@oldtimer3824, Audi Q5 reliability & durability are a big step down vs. the NX. Audis are good for leasing but terrible to own beyond typical leasing periods.
Great review of the Lexus NX 200t, only bit of constructive criticism I could offer is when you are interviewing an owner or anyone for that matter, give them time to answer all the questions you are throwing their way. Maybe it’s more of the southerner in me where you do not interrupt others who are talking that was drilled into us as kids?I learned the 80/20 rule where the interviewer talks 20% & the interviewee talks 80% but that’s when you are really wanting for the interviewee to talk. The interviewer really has a lot to say here & I would say he may be better suited to not even bring the owners into the scenario, just to let him talk/educate more on in the given subject?
Got an used 2019 NX300h 48k miles for $26k. Love it! Was thinking about 2021 Venza. People say it’s “Lexus Like” but driving back to back, i would say “Lexus is a Lexus”. Interior is much more quieter and materials are WAY better! IMO.
Hope you enjoy it.. NX300h.. good gas mileage, good cargo space, Toyota reliability and AWD.. what's not to like.. and plus I'm pretty sure these models allow for regular fuel instead of premium
Great timing! I am looking at a CPO NX300H for my wife. Seems like a great vehicle. Thanks for mentioning the model year changes. Makes a big difference to me to know this.
My sister bought a GLC I think a 300 with the V6 Diesel, she puts a lot of miles on them so only keeps a car for 3-4 years, this car was well over 100K miles when she sold it and never had an issue.
We got the upgraded package which included an upgrade for the sound system, what a great option, well worth it. I don't like the looks of the 22, too smooth I like the earlier wedgy origami look of the creases in it. The sound of the engine wouldn't be strained if you drove it in sport mode, it kicks butt. BMW x3 is VERY costly to repair and has no where close to the reliability of a LEXUS.
25 HWY is not that gppd for HWY. I am not sure what speed she drives but 55-65 is your sweet spot for fuel mileage. But truly 55 is it. Most places now 55 is a thing of the past. 65-75 on the freeway is generally the speed limits from where I am from and 5 mph over is 70-80. From 65 to 70 on my 2008 Rav4 I4 is a significant difference which is about a 2mpg hit. If I drove 55 I no doubt could achieve their 27mpg hwy I am sure. But it isn't practical. If I am going 80. That number drops to about 21. So from assumption of 27 mpg at 55 to 24.5 at 65 to about 22.5 at 70 and 21 at 80. That's about a 23% decrease in fuel mileage. In sub zero conditions then my fuel mileage is horrible as can be expected.
Pros: superb seating, folding rear mirrors. Cons: infotainment control, I'm not tall but I hit my head once in a while while I'm getting into it, I don't like the clock which needs adjusting every 6 months.
Regarding the CVT, it is important to not that it’s an eCVT which is leaps and bounds more reliable and completely different mechanically from a CVT. It still drives like a CVT, but it’s as reliable as a classical automatic, with very little maintenance.
_Lexus UX, Lexus NX or Lexus GX460 for power, reliability, comfort, road bumps, while having elderly parents as passengers (only twice or 3times a week) which model would cover all that efficiently? I personally lean towards the GX460!_
IMO if you're going for the GX460 just go all the way with the LX, its a little larger, and more luxurious and the prices of pre-owned do not differ that much.
WE HAVEN A 2016 WITH 6,900 MILES ON IT, WE HAD 5 CARS AT THE TIME AND THIS WAS THE LAST ONE TO GET USED, IT IS JUST A FANTASTIC CAR, WE LOVE IT, WHITE PEARL, LOVE THE COOLED SEATS IN THE SUMMER. It really drives like a sports car, We couldn't be happier In sport mode it is so fast.
You can get Apple CarPlay and android retrofitted to many models, there’s a third party company that also do it. I will be looking at some NX models tomorrow. One's a 2015 but the others are newer up to 2019. I will look at some RX as well but I don’t need a big vehicle.
IT'S A LITTLE NARROW AS THE CONSOLE IS PRETTY WIDE, BUT WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING IT IS NOT A PROBLEM, OURS IS A 2016 NX 200T, 8 YEARS OLD,,7,400 MILES, MAYBE THE LOWEST MILEAGE OF A 16 IN SOUTHERN CA. WE LOVE OURS, IN SPORT MODE IT HAS LOTS OF OOOOOMPH!, HOPEFULLY THE LAST NEW CAR I WILL PURCHASE.
If you’re on top of maintenance that engine could last you up to 200k miles easily, clean oil engine is all that matter with that engine due it’s a turbo engine.
Just bought a few days ago a 2016 Lexus NX200T 48k miles for roughly $27,967.80 more then what I wanted to pay but it was the only one that was some what we'll priced and it's been great so far except for the display it's not the same OS being displayed in this video I'm seeing. I'm thinking about replacing it with another display more advanced and better quality. It's a little pricey though. So far the car has been good. Haven't had a decent vehicle in YEARS, so it was nice to get something decent and reliable and quality. Can't afford 30K+ for a car so this was the middle ground. The 2018 RAV4 SE AWD are way to crazy priced. This was somewhat well priced all around. As for that BMW X3 what year are you talking?
@@ledanglove So really it depends on where you're located that gas performance will vary. Me I'm located in a rural area so driving places that I need to go are about 36 minutes away or so and there's very few times I would be stopping. So for me gas performance is fairly decent It's not the greatest but it's decent enough. The only downside somewhat is that it has a turbo turbo themselves break down easier so you'll want to avoid that by at least changing your oil every 6,000 miles ( highly recommended). Overall it is a good car.
Also make sure you learn about the safety features of the 2016 Lexus NX200T and look out for those safety features on the one you find and make sure it's rightfully priced. Also if you're in the United States and you're looking to buy it from a car dealership and you don't know anything about how they operate you should also check out this other UA-camr named Kevin Hunt the homework guy and you can learn a lot from him
I recently bought a 2009 RX and while I like it Lexus and pr Toyota has no congruency on building cabins there is no theme. I also have a 2012 ISF and a 2008 Rav4. When I get into the RX I am still confused on the layout of the dash. It is horrible and the ISF isn't far behind. The Rav4 is simple and makse sense but is just a dumb design.
