I think with the Doctor dropping the fob watch in the TARDIS, I think that was a great scene and it makes sense that the Doctor wouldn’t want to regain those lost memories because of fear of the unknown, having to regain the memories of being abused by Tecteun, fear of finding out why they were all alone in the middle of nowhere, the bad things they did for Division, and more. I think the issue is that we didn’t actually see any of the memories in the fob watch before the Doctor dropped it in the TARDIS. I wish Flux had been 10-12 episodes. There were some perfect moments to show some memories in the fob watch, the first when the Doctor was in Claire’s mind and the Rogue Angel revealed that it had her memories, and to prove that it has it shows her one. The second when the Doctor found the fob watch, Tecteun could’ve let the Doctor see a memory in the watch to tempt her to go with her and Division. The third being when Swarm and Azure force her into the watch, already a perfect opportunity there. It’s such a shame that the fob watch wasn’t actually used.
