Yeah they are beautiful truck I have the black one and the orange and white waiting on fair RC their first modded K5’s Silver one. But yeah since they come with the O-rings to convert the shocks over to Oil, huge performance gain Yep we’re watching now
Sup man nice run with blazer looks good out there here in oregon i do jave the privilege to enjoy beautiful land lots mountains stream and we have the Pacific coast as well lots of places to go rc crawling around here u ever come to the west coast visit oregon u will love it hehe my blazer is outta commission atm i burned out the motor in one of my adventure videos i filmed at the oregon coast recently so just waiting on a motor from fms it eill be a while hehe
@@419crawlers I'm from Ohio as well, but I haven't learned how to rock crawl yet. I just got my FMS K5 yesterday. So far, there are a couple of things I don't like about it. The mirrors broke off during the first two roll-overs, which was quite annoying. (I'm planning to 3D print new ones as replacements.) Another issue is how loud it is. I'm not sure if there are any upgrades available to fix that, so I might just have to get used to it. When I was younger, in my 20s, I used to be into RC. I always had Traxxas, but they were all 1/10th scale nitro models. Now that motor and battery technology has improved so much, nitro seems a bit silly. That's why I decided to get back into RC trucks, specifically 1/24th scale crawlers. (i used chatGPD to proofread and fix my comment because i suck at typing)
i got this fms k5 truck yesterday and mine had texas plates on it, i wonder if thats a little jab at the ol traxxas ppl, i think traxxas is in texas :O
I stand by my previous comment, FMS/RocHobby look much better than they perform and last. Motor too small, esc pretty crap. It may be a rather large 1/18 but the baby Capra not only looks good but is extremely capable and reliable.
