Wow you're very good at reviewing, not too long, not too short, straight to the point, honest and genuine. Thanks for the reviews! You got a new subscriber
I myself am not really into most survival games. This does look interesting though. I really appreciate the critique you give , covering different taste and preferences as you go. Thank you.
Could never really get into RIM world. Tried a few times. Downloading this now. Mac from Worth a Buy gave it good praise 6 months ago, so fingers crossed it's kept up the momentum of improvement since then.
great video! as per usual on this channel. However lately I've found myself lacking motivation to actually play a game, kinda ironic my being here. So I was wondering if you could discuss some of your favorite games from different genres? (and Stellaris ofc). good video again.
I love this game, and I've got 3500+ hours in Rimworld. It's not Rimworld 3D...yet. After all, Rimworld is on its third DLC and Stranded is just at release. Rimworld, being 2D, is a lot easier to mod, whereas Stranded, being 3D, is a lot tougher as it's full 3D and you need more than 4-direction sprites. Still, there are at least 3 mods that add substantially to the game, allowing it to be open-ended, with some added activities. A nice difference so far in modding is that the mods work together very well. Project-X and Beyond Stranded can be used together. Likewise with the Cyberpunk-themed mod, though it would be nice if Beyond Stranded and Cyberpunk didn't have the same new skill but implemented separately (Excavation-type skill, the Mine mod in Rimworld). I guess the only missing feature is to make your own colonists. So the mods I'd like to see are Run & Gun and Prepare Carefully (for custom colonists). Pick Up & Haul would be good too, but the quantities of stuf they haul seem to be more than in Rimworld, making that mod less crucial. All in all, I feel Stranded is the 3D entry into the Dwarf Fortress->Rimworld family tree. Thanks much for the review.
I’m gonna be honest, when I first started playing I was upset. I felt I had wasted my money. I kept playing it and gave it a chance. Once I understood the dynamics and got more comfortable on how to control everything I really enjoy playing this game. I’m glad I gave it a chance.
I actually love this game...I have the console version...imo it takes some imagination after a while to keep one map interesting...in my runs it ends up being a farming simulator for the most part outside of the fighting of course
One correction, it’s not procedurally generated. It’s just large and you land in different places every time you load but if you really like a map you can make note of the seed and reload the same crash landing spot
I have the Xbox version...what fo you mean by the same??? If you're considering getting this on xbox and haven't already, I think this game is great and has even more potential
Most people do not want to play Rimworld just because of how complex it is? LOL! I don't want to play it just because of how it looks 😐. With graphics like that I won't even find out how complex it is.
It's not the graphics you don't like, it's Art style. And it's your loss... but to me it sounds like you don't want to be a friends with someone who has weird hairstyle... just because of hairstyle...
Looks good, great video by the way but this feels like this game will need to be updated as time goes on from the looks of it. I read some reviews on Steam and seems like a wait for me. Hopefully, they update this game and not leave it bare the bone.
Good video as always. I was excited for this one but I really don't like the aesthetics of it. The models and everything just look to generic and bland for me to be interested. I know that's just me and a lot of people will like it but if something isn't eye catching right off the bat I can't devote any time to it. This one just doesn't grab me.
Rimworld is the king. I didn’t think any other game like it would be worth playing. Until I played stranded. Amazing game also, not quite as deep but it is fun and a new experience
I have bought Rimworld but I regret and never play it just because its lack of Steam achievements. For Stranded Alien Dawn, I think I’m going to buy it for its 3D graphics and Steam achievements. ❤
You have bought one of the best games ever made, but not played it because it lacks achievements? :D Interesting to choose which games you play based on something so arbitrary. So if the developer added 100 random achievements , then you would start playing it? :D

you should be. Get Grounded and Subnautica. You will enjoy them.
Cool video. You're one of the only channels to actually give a tasteful review of this game
Congratulations on 15k man. Great to see you come this far. Truly inspiring. To more success and great content🎉

damn i was hoping it was
Cool, dude thanks for a nice review without bs.
Hi again, is the Xbox version the same as the PC version?
I have the Xbox version...what fo you mean by the same??? If you're considering getting this on xbox and haven't already, I think this game is great and has even more potential
@@GrandPapaCap I have the version of Xbox too, I mean like RimWorld; it has more things on PC than on Xbox
@@cristiandiaz7297 ah OK, yeah it makes sense
Thank you, that was very informative.
Good Review ! Thank you
Very nice video!!! Thanks for the review!!!
Good Reviewer this guy
Great work as always man!
❤️❤️❤️
Rimworld is my favorite game ever and I probably have more than 3000 hours on it, so I'll definitely check this game out.
I'm in the same boat, let me know ow what you think please
I absolutely love this game, but it’s almost exactly like rimworld. Even down to the menus.
jsut starting to get into colony sim games
this looks like a fun one but not for the price, gonna wait for a decent sale
Most people do not want to play Rimworld just because of how complex it is? LOL! I don't want to play it just because of how it looks 😐. With graphics like that I won't even find out how complex it is.

Does this game have cheats/console commands?
0:12 wtf are you saying

Don't forget to check the date of reviews, they might be from early access days and those things are fixed by now
Its released at 1.0 so expect to pay for dlc for any content
Review just started. I take off my pants and grab the hamster.
It looks cool, i love survival games but never heard of this one, idk about the price though, maybe a little too much

I thought exactly the same thing too, but ultimately I don't judge games by look, mainly only by gameplay
@@Nyxson I wish I could do that! ADHD makes it impossible for me sadly lol.
So is it like Sims or fallout?
Why Fallout?! Did I mention Fallout?
@@Nyxson no it just took to long to see gameplay
Somewhat similar to sims

is there a bizarre planet location ?
the settings i see here is more like ~ youve just been stranded to other continent 😆

Sounds like Deplomacy is not an option
Looks good but has Denuvo. Deal breaker.
Can’t you delete it?

its like old school "Age of Empires"?
No, nothing like that

Your meat riding of rim world made me not want to play it
Huh
I didn't know zelensky played video games. Thanks for taking a break from the war to review this game
Could you please work on your pronunciation and talking speed. It's really difficult to follow what you're trying to say at times.
Maybe you need to work on your listening skill?!
I know that I speak little fast but no one else seem to so rudely point it out
@@Nyxson I understand you perfectly every video. Idk what he is talking about
Not as deep as rimworld, leading to less hours on "fun" play.. gets a bit boring fairly quickly
