PRO-PAIN "Voice Of Rebellion" (Official Video) Taken from the current album "Voice Of Rebellion" Tour infos at: pro-pain.com Video produced by: Kirk Farrington
Willie Feelz I am surprised to hear that. I always thought they were the kings of this genre. Isn't that enough recognition? I mean, this is the best hardcore band. I would be surprised if Madball or Biohazard were more popular.
I agree with Willie Feelz. But is Pro-Pain hardcore? Bands like Madball, Biohazard, Terror, Hatebreed, Sick of it All are typical hardcore band. But Pro-Pain is ... I don't know. Is there any band that sounds a little like Pro-Pain?
Agreed seen them in Chicago years back in a seated show and it seemed i was the only headbanger. The crowd was there to see Testament. But i enjoyed ProPain much more than i did Testament.
I totally agree but it's not mainstream enough. they even tried with a couple songs to get something for the radio, over the years, and it's just not happening. They still have a huge following and can do it as a career.
Critics panned Contents Under Pressure because they didn't think it was up to par with Foul Taste of Freedom. Unfortunately, kids back then were still under the impression that critics' opinions mattered, so Pro-Pain kinda fell out of favor.
Saw them many times Live at the Al Rosa Villa, Columbus Ohio. During one encore, I jumped on stage and stole a guitar pick off mic stand. Security drug me off towards the exit…Pro Pain stopped the Show…told bouncer to let me go. Love these guys!Best Live Shows of my youth
These guys have been one of the best bands consistently since their first record Foul Taste of Freedom came out back when I was in high school. Great song from one of the heaviest bands ever.
Yep. Been my favorite band since the Crumbsuckers. Every time a new CD comes out, I run out and buy it. Some are better than others (Fistful of Hate remains my favorite to date), but it's consistently awesome.
I fucking love this band. Their "simplicity" is refreshing. Some (a lot) of bands try to do too much, and the actual music falls flat and dies in the struggle to "be creative." These guys just come to wreck your neck. No filler. Just head banging shit. That's awesome as fuck if you ask me.
kiswjustin Truth! You nailed it on the head! Agree on everything and if you didn't wrote that comment, I would! 25yrs and still going strong,no retreat no surrender! No weak records, no two same records, no big time in between record, no BS, just pure force straight forward and that's all to Gary, he is the main cat! Some albums were more punk, some more HC and some more metal, but it's all PRO - PAIN.
My first pit ever was to Death On The Dance Floor. Talk about getting broke in quick. Too much fun. 22 years later, still pitting like a fucking mad man! 🤘🏻
I love this band. I have seen them about 11 years ago and they brought me the worst neck-ache ever hahahaha You hear them and no chance to stand still. Amazing
Отличный напор, группа "Pro Pain" из города Нью-Йорк, и по "низам" здорово даёт! Уважаю (музло сие "цепануло" крепко), и не могу не пожелать тяжелейшего в дальнейшем!
@@internetaccount5417 He confronted some dude who picked his pocket in a bar/restaurant and a group of guys ended up beating the living hell out of him. He had no opportunity to really defend himself because he got taken out with an ice pick to the back of his head. Then once he was down, they started kicking the living hell out of him. He’s fine now though.
For me, the part from 1:13 on defines heaviness in metal. Heavy downpicking riff and then the fluent transition and beat switchup of the drummer, with the riff simply going on. Simple groove that always catches me
I remember seeing these guys on STATEN island. 10 people at the show. Back in the early 90's. I've seen them 5 times. Once at the limelight in NYC. Foul taste of freedom tour. With the original guitarist. Only 1 guy. MOST UNDERRATED EVER!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooo, i live in sweden. And this is totaly new to me. I am a huge devildriver, pantera, soulfly and machine head fan. Guess what i think of this:) this is the first ive ever heard of this. Well,i will follow.
Greetings guys from Pittsburgh Pa USA. I'm presently on my buddy's phone and gotta say that PRO-PAIN are and alwayz shall remain dam goodva hardcore-metal
One of the greatest shows I’ve seen was Pro Pain @ Limelight in NYC in the early 90’s. They abruptly stopped the show to surrender the stage to the Great Lemmy and Motor head for a very impromptu show. It’s was as legendary as it sounds. Small stage club , front and center and Lemmy burns the house down. 🔥🤘🔥
My band opened for Pro-Pain in 1994 at the AlRosa Villa, Columbus,Ohio. Same venue Dimebag got shot. Super cool dudes, I always thought they should have gotten bigger or more credit. I kind of think they were a hybrid genre band which I guess puts them at a slight disadvantage in tapping into a big fan base. Either way, sick groovy riffs, breakdowns and actually some damn catchy choruses. Glad they are still chugging!
John Lehrfeld it’s been done , old hat, i thumbed down because of hatebreed, they’re a hard core (ish) band and i like them ok, but they’re not a small venue favorite, Propain needs real, well not that there fake don’t get that wrong, but a vrowd that has deep roots in hardcore , and maybe a band like Sheer Terror, or Mad Ball, Trapped Under Ice Wisdom In Chains, but never leave Suicidal Tendencies Biohazard, Sick Of It All, Murphy’s Law, Agnostic front, out of a Terror lineup, unless you have Cromags, Gorilla Biscuits, Slapshot, Crowbar, Broken Bones, or Crumb Suckers, strength for a reason, H2O, Comeback Kid, Departed, Crowd Deterrent, and a handful I don’t have time for!!!
Been a fan from the beginning seen these guys live 10+ times. I interned at "Energy Records" right before"Contents under Pressure" was released and smoked with some of the guys in the band. Always loved them \m/
I’m not going to lie I’m a little jealous of you man lol I went down to see them in Cleveland last year and they got stopped at the border of Canada and I live 3 hours away and I waited 15 years haha one day
I've been a fan since Gary was in Crumbsuckers. I still have my Crumbsuckers CD;s and they've never grown old....still fucking classic. But I've never seen Pro-pain.
ENERGY RECORDS... WOW..havent heard that in a while... SOULS AT ZERO and PRO PAIN on the same label..... too bad they were shit for getting those bands out..
I worked the oilfield for 40 years and this is the shit I listen too when I drink barrel proof Sagamore rye whiskey and smoke Oregon grown herbs.
This is the most underrated band ever. I've been a fan for years and they don't get the recognition they deserve
Willie Feelz I am surprised to hear that. I always thought they were the kings of this genre. Isn't that enough recognition? I mean, this is the best hardcore band. I would be surprised if Madball or Biohazard were more popular.
both biohazard and madball get more recognition then pro pain
ya i seen them when they first started they kick ass

My muscles grew 25% as a result of listening to this.
My muscles have muscles :p
I laughed out loud to your comment @@UCs6Wbmk_Omm5hq5QUl3Nzag
So did my dick bro lol
Now my muscles have six packs.
Matt Jensen Damnit. You beat me to the penis punch. I was going to make a boner joke. Well played, sir.
He's got one of the best voices I've ever heard. How the hell aren't they bigger? Absolute bad ass band with such a great, in your face sound.
Agreed!
Gary's voice is one of the best without a doubt!
I totally agree but it's not mainstream enough. they even tried with a couple songs to get something for the radio, over the years, and it's just not happening. They still have a huge following and can do it as a career.
They were ahead of their time. The mainstream didn't really catch on to this style of music until the mid to late 90s.
Critics panned Contents Under Pressure because they didn't think it was up to par with Foul Taste of Freedom. Unfortunately, kids back then were still under the impression that critics' opinions mattered, so Pro-Pain kinda fell out of favor.
Biohazard,hatebreed,throwdown and pro-pain🔥🔥🤘🤘
Saw them many times Live at the Al Rosa Villa, Columbus Ohio. During one encore, I jumped on stage and stole a guitar pick off mic stand. Security drug me off towards the exit…Pro Pain stopped the Show…told bouncer to let me go.
Love these guys!Best Live Shows of my youth
Damn, that is sick! I went to Ozzfest on 3 different occasions at Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio. 3 of the best days of my life.
geilste band die ich seit langem geshen habe
I played with these guys in Philly at the cell block, great bunch of guys!!
I'm so glad to see these guys break 1 million views with practically no promotion, merch, total underground and keeping low profile for 30 years.
These guys have been one of the best bands consistently since their first record Foul Taste of Freedom came out back when I was in high school. Great song from one of the heaviest bands ever.
dannynsk you're correct
Damn right
Yep. Been my favorite band since the Crumbsuckers. Every time a new CD comes out, I run out and buy it. Some are better than others (Fistful of Hate remains my favorite to date), but it's consistently awesome.
I am listening there songs from the year 2004
I find foul taste of freedom didn't fair too well for me. I have always bought their albums on release. So good.
Gary Meskil must have found fountain of youth. After almost 3 decades he looks exactly the same.
@Hermano Antonio he's married dude
Well after the attack he might look a little different
@@mattjensen5358 loser I have been hearing that for 7 years get some keyboard commander

I haven't heard these in ages I'm glad there still kicking ass 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
All the best with your recovery Gary.
I love this band!
Been a huge fan since late 1994. Arguably, the most overlooked band I have heard. 🤘🏼😎
PRO-PAIN #1 FAN GIRL!! ROUND 6, BABY!!!
Much respect for these guys all the way from the West coast!
NY Legends.
One of the most brutal riffs & perfect drumming (speed it up) tempo changes Ive ever heard. Amazing song.
I'm partial to the Tom Klimchuck stuff, but this song is fuckin' great. That riff and Gary's voice just inspire aggression.
Отличный напор, группа "Pro Pain" из города Нью-Йорк, и по "низам" здорово даёт! Уважаю (музло сие "цепануло" крепко), и не могу не пожелать тяжелейшего в дальнейшем!

Legends.Always intense, heavy and on point.
kick ass band. Wishing Gary a speedy recovery after the viscious attack on him in Brussels.
What happened in Brussels?

Just heard this for the first time today on XM Octane...I can't stop listening ! So consider this YOUR warning shot !!! \m/
One of my favorite bands been following forever. Since Park Avenue in Ohio. The Alrosa Villa ,Kent State Newport. Keep it up . Love you guys!!!!!!!
Heaviest song in metal history... A steamroller, a punch in the face of all the bast..ds. A warning shot from the great Gary Meskill
John 1975 umm I know a few slayer songs that would disagree
😹😹😹😹😹🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😹😹😹😹 fuck up
One of the few heavy conservative bands in existence. MAGA 2024!
They have been around for years and never changed or sold out
Da fuq? They ain’t MAGA. You heard All For King George? Gary is definitely NOT MAGA, man.
BEAST SONG! Keep it up fellas, NEW YORK HARDCORE!!
I have both of the guitars that each of their guitarists are using here, only my PRS is purple lol...killer song, made with awesome guitars! \m/
Goddamnit they finally turned their Gain knob up! Now it's at full balls! Nice!
Fuck yeah still a fan all these years.
This is the fire that We The People need to take on these evil elite.
This is the band thay got me into metal with the album "Foul Tatse of Freedom" in 1990. Im 42. So yeah, been w these boys for a bit. Love these dudes.
Best metal band period ! Been a fan since the 80's \m/
They started in the 90's...
Rose from the ashes of the Crumbsuckers that started in the 80s....so not too far off.
Contents under pressure got me hooked..Love the way they take me back in time like I was 18 again.
Glad to see they are still around..love these guys!!
PRO-PAIN needs to start touring again & come to Pittsburgh Pa USA
Speaking of old steel towns come to buffalo but I'd travel to Pittsburgh because Pittsburgh is awesome I use to live in sewickley

Many many years ago i thought that they called "Propane" :) But no matter of the name, they are one of the best metal bands ever.
