Thank you for this! I missed several art classes due to being sick and so when I came in for studio to do our cubist project, I was honestly lost on how to get it started. Our teacher simply showed us completed paintings but gave no real guidance on how to execute it. This helped tremendously, so, thank you very much!

Was cubism really so formulaic? Its not a judgement on this tutorial or anything, I just dont know too much about the style. Like all art styles it must have its own process, but I thought it was something each artist working in the style approached in their own way.
Very helpful video thank you... I do art for enjoyment, and do not want to take classes on anything--- I want what I make to be all me, but this is all I have watched for my cubist endevors, and it helped.

Great video and yes my art students have a cubism project after an artist review of Picasso. This is Analytic Cubism verses Synthetic Cubism. They have an option.

We're going to have a modern art exhibit soon and I'm more into realistic art style so I had to learn more about modern art. There are so many styles but I fell inlove with cubism and now I'm going to try to paint in that style. Thank you so much for sharing us your knowledge. I'll try to learn about this movement more. ☺

yeah, cubism is way more than "random lines" or whatever, but I guess this is ok as far as pastiches go
