This, for me, is the perfect Whitesnake. None of the other lineups came to this intensity. Although there were a lot of powerful guitarplayers in this band, Marsden and Moody (and Murray!) were the heart and soul. That combined with Lord and Paice... David Coverdale had it right there.
Totally agree. Before the 80s hair band look and pretty anonymous shredders took over. This is balanced across the whole band, tight as you like, and kicks arse big time. And that 12 string sound is just gorgeous.
